We had a lovely time at Kathleen's flat. You hardly can call this a self catering accommodation - I've never arrived anywhere, where there had been so many things provided that didn't just cover a fully equipped kitchen, but also numerous food items, so if you'd arrived late, there would have been enough for a great breakfast and more. The flat was spotless clean and Kathleen was a very helpful and accommodating host. There were even dog bowls and dog snacks provided as well as some toys for the kids!

The Garden Flat is a lovely little apartment, secluded in a quiet part of Dollar but within walking distance of the shops and main road. The owner Kathleen is very helpful and friendly, and close at hand to help with any queries.

I am not sure where you thought my listing was inaccurate as nowhere do I indicate there are 2 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms yes but only one bathroom. Other listings in the village have 2 bathrooms but due to my listed building status it is not possible to have second bathroom in the flat. Take care , Kathleen

Kathleen is a hostess par excellence and is very knowledgeable and helpful with information about places to visit and how to get there. She has a full folder of brochures to browse through. The flat is very well equipped and comfortable and accommodated 5 of us without feeling cramped. There were fresh flowers in every room which was a really nice touch and Kathleen provided fresh fruit, bread, milk and a dozen eggs which we found on our arrival. The flat is in a pretty, leafy suburban road and is within easy walking distance to the local Co-op and other shops on the main street. The walk to Castle Campbell and into the beautiful surrounding forest area with small waterfalls and burns is fabulous. When we had car trouble Kathleen kindly offered to drive to Stirling to fetch us. She even took one of our group who is unable to do much walking out for the day when the rest of us went to Edinburgh. We were very impressed with her kindly and caring personality. Kathleen's place was charming and impeccably clean. She was very welcoming and provided a fridge full of delicious items for us to all enjoy. We would definitely return if we visit the area again in the future.
