This Victorian home was built in 1899. It became a boarding house in the early 20th century after the Delaware and Northern railroad was founded in 1905. Many artists and writers started to visit the area in the early 1900's, once the railroads connected the city to the Catskill mountains.
The house was purchased by an interior designer/ restaurant owner from New York City in 2007 and went through renovations. The house includes art, antiques and refurbished furniture from the early 1900's.
The property is gated within 10 acres of land, a garden and private access to the East Branch of the Delaware river. Great for anyone who wants privacy, comfort, relaxation and escape from the city. Film makers, photographers and artists welcome!

The owner Guy Peppin built a private space behind the house and cabin so guests can have complete privacy and call on him when ever he is needed.

At night it is cold in the Catskills mountains, even during the summer! You may want to bring sweaters to keep warm and boots that will allow you to walk through the streams, rocks, and woods. It is best to prepare with the right gear to enjoy everything the Catskills has to offer. If it is the summer, we suggest you bring bug spray, swimwear, sweaters and some hiking boots. If you are interested in fishing, please get a fishing license.
Have a great time but be careful with the art and antiques. Drinks and music are fine, please have everyone under control. If you are interested in hunting or fishing, please check and obey local laws and regulations. Fire arms are allowed on the property, but must be registered and licensed. If you are interested in holding an event, pricing may change.
