Die Unterkunft
Welcome to the Waverly House.  Our home is being listed for vacation rental for the first time in January of 2020.  That means all new everything for guests:  linens, towels, kitchen supplies, beds, TVs, appliances, much of the furniture, all plumbing / bathroom fixtures, new toilets, new master bathroom.  A perfect spot for family of four or guests of the campus.  Centrally located for a perfect business stay or desert holiday.  Very private and serene in a historical neighborhood.  Corner lot.<br />
<br />
The master bedroom has the new king bed and frame.  New quilt comforter, 800 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, Antique dresser.  Tiffany style lamps on nightstands, ceiling fan, large closet.  Samsung smart TV.  Refinished, original oak flooring.  En suite master bathroom has been gutted and completely rebuilt with tiled floor and walls, new marble top vanity, toilet and all fixtures.  The shower is a massive four feet by four feet!<br />

The second bedroom has a queen with new quilt comforter, 800 thread count Egyptian cotton linens.  It is our country and western themed bedroom with Cowboy and Indian art and antiques as decor.  Ceiling fan and refinished original oak flooring.  <br />
<br />
Second bathroom has fun multi-colored tiles, new tile flooring, new toilet and plumbing fixtures.  Shower / tub and a refinished vanity.<br />
<br />
Living room has two upholstered chairs and an ottoman.  Unusual middle-eastern brass table and antique reading lamp.  Ceiling fan and refinished original oak flooring.  Big picture window overlooking the pool and courtyard.<br />
<br />
Den has a cozy couch, ceiling fan, an array of new double pane windows and a new ten light door to the back veranda.  A big screen Samsung smart TV.  Large antique coffee table and parson's table were brought in from South Africa and are made of sturdy and lovely African hardwood.<br />
<br />
Kitchen was remodeled a few years ago and we upgraded to an uber-quiet stainless steel in and out dishwasher, new commercial style faucet and a side by side, ice and water in door, refrigerator.  A gas range for your ease of cooking.  Every amenity in the kitchen is brand new...dinnerware, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, small appliances including a microwave, blender, mixer, KitchenAid drip coffee make, coffee grinder, ice tea maker.  Lots of baking pans, Pyrex storage containers and useful gadgets.<br />
<br />
Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with a brand new set of Maytag full sized, commercial, washer and dryer.  A top of the line new water heater makes sure you have plenty of that.  The entire water supply in the house is softened with Culligan water service.  This mitigates Tucson famous hard water issues.  What a difference it makes!<br />
<br />
Our pool is not heated, but provides a quiet and serene getaway for relaxing and lounging yeararound.  The surround coping in a super premium concrete mix that keeps it cooler and regular surfaces.  There are two pool loungers, and patio dining table with 4 chair and an umbrella.  The pool features steps as entry, so no ladder, and easy to get right in.  Nearby is the outdoor shower with hot and cold water!<br />
<br />
We are dog lovers and travel with our golden retriever.  So we make our property available to same.  There is a fee of $50 per pet.  No pit bulls, rottweilers, German shepards or other aggressive dogs.  No dogs over 60 pounds.  You are responsible for cleaning up dog messes in yard.<br />
<br />
We are energy conscious people.  We have a 8KW, 22 panel, solar array on the roof to help offset the home's energy use.  We use a smart thermostat.  This is a non-smoking residence.  You will enjoy the 6 foot stucco wall that surrounds the entire property for privacy, security, peace and quiet.  Water is a precious commodity in the desert.  We hope you will conserve on your usage.
