Stayed here for Austin City Limits, but would stay again if ever visiting for something else. Conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants (and walkable to Zilcher Park). Nice space with convenient amenities. Neighborhood is safe and walkable, day and night . Richard was very friendly and gave a quick rundown on what was around. Otherwise, just asked that I let him know if I needed anything and gave us space/privacy to do our own thing, which was perfect.

Richard and Sara are great! If you need them they are happy to help, especially if you need help figuring out how to get around. Being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the great events in Austin was easy and convenient. The space is cozy, clean and feels like home. I recommend booking with them if you have the chance. I really love that it is a well maintained house from the 1800s in a quiet residential area, peaceful and perfect for breakfast on the porch.

AMENITIES: The apartment was a charming, large space in a historic house. The apartment had a full kitchen complete with fridge and glassware. The bed was large king size. I've used several Airbnbs and this was by far the largest space I've ever had. LOCATION: Situated in Clarksville, it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown attractions like 6th St, the Capitol and the river, and about 20 minutes to Rainey Street. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but is only a few minutes from an ice cream shop (Amys) and a neighborhood grocery store. CLEANLINESS: The apartment overall was spotless when I arrived. CHECKIN: When I made the reservation I immediately received a message containing precise check in and parking instructions. Overall, the process was a breeze.

I am sorry about the roach(es). We have had the apartment treated for them. Unfortunately, in Texas roaches are just a fact of life. It is not really possible to eliminate them entirely. Or if you could, you'd have to resort to some noxious chemicals that some guests would not like. The larger wood roaches do not live inside the house. They come in and leave. I am confident that there are very few in the house.

We had a great weekend stay in Austin! The annex was very cozy and comfortable, and was an easy walk to bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Not many King size beds in Historic homes that's in walking distance to EVERYTHING in Austin. This was a PERFECT place for us. Beautiful home with tons of character yet modern amenities. Great water pressure in shower, comfy bed, plenty of room for two, well appointed kitchen, quiet shady grounds, and we literally walked everywhere. Close to running trails at Town Lake, walked over to Barton Springs and Food Trucks, great local restaurants at 12th and West Lynn recommend by Richard our host; their orange cat visited us, we regret we only got a glimpse of Sparky, the house dog. Thanks Richard and Sara for a wonderful place to stay!

This home is in a wonderful neighborhood. It's very spacious, and had everything we needed. Richard was so kind to bring us fresh ground coffee. We loved the this property, and will definitely be returning. There is a beautiful dog park nearby that we used often since we were dog sitting for our son on a few occasions. Thank you Richard and Sara for sharing your home.
