Our 5 bedroom and 5 bathroom barn conversion is a cool place for a getaway on the Cornish coast. Sea and Island views and only a 10 min walk from the beach. The barn is designed to offer lots of space to relax and enjoy a Summer or Winter break. Port Isaac is just over the hill, only a mile as the crow flys. Polzeath and other sandy beaches are just a round the corner ten minutes in the car. Port Quin harbour truly a hidden gem, is just a short walk down the hill.
The barn is a long traditional Cornish building and we have converted it upside down to make the most of the sea views from the living area and kitchen upstairs. The other end of the building is more traditional with a "Snug" lounge downstairs. There is a woodburner in each lounge and the barn has central heating throughout.
Three bedrooms are ensuite and there is a bathroom next to each of the two other bedrooms. There's cosy underfloor heating in the slate entrance hall and also in the main bathroom for that long soak after a day covering some miles on the Coastpath or a chilly Winter surf!
The barn is in an old courtyard/farmyard formation that we have now converted so there are two other holiday cottages in the L shape yard which make up what was once Trewint farmyard. We have designed the conversions so each property has as much privacy as possible and the area in front and to the end of the barn is solely for barn guests use.

We always like to welcome guests but then leave you to it. We run the farmland which surrounds the property and are happy to give guests a tour of the farm out on the cliffs above Lundy bay and also the Farm buildings which are 1/2 a mile down the road. Our family live on the Farm so we are never too far away if guests need anything or any advice on where to go and what to do.
Weitere wichtige Infos
We are very proud of our Cornish heritage and our family farm that we have run for more than 4 generations. If you are interested let us know, if we are not too busy looking after the animals or crops, we would be more than happy to show you around some of the 400 acres, if you are really keen you can even lend a hand moving some sheep, or fixing some old Cornish hedges!
House rules are strictly no smoking and no pets.
We also strictly ask that outdoor shoes are not worn beyond the entrance halls, so please bring your slippers!
The last rule is, make sure you have a great stay!!

I live with my partner Doon and our little boy Digory on our Family farm, overlooking Port Quin bay in North Cornwall. As well as helping on the farm, I also run a small adventure Buisness in the Summer months, taking people sea kayaking, paddle boarding and Coasteering. In our spare time we like to explore our local coastline and other distant shores! We love the coast and where we live.
