We live in the house with our sweet dog, Lola and our grumpy cat, Ruby. You will have a key to the house so you may come and go as you please. We just ask you to be quiet on your way up to your room if it's late. We are happy to help with information, directions and anything you may need. We really want your stay to be a pleasant one!
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, lived for 23 years in New York City and then nine years in Oakland, California, just across the Bay from San Francisco. We returned a few years ago to the East Coast, here in Connecticut, to be closer to our children and grandchildren. I recently retired after working for forty years in early childhood education and my free time is filled with family, friends, gardening, yoga and exercise classes, walks with my dog, reading and going to the movies! My late husband, who was an artist, and I had a wonderful life together. We lived in exciting cities and had some great adventures in Europe and Africa. We have four terrific children and eight grandchildren. The house seems a little quiet now and I look forward to the activity of Airbnb guests!
