Spiti Barbara is located in a great neighbourhood in Firostefani. Small shops, tavernas and cafes are in walking distance. Located between Efterpi Villas and Dana Villas. Walking distance along the scenic pathway to the main town Fira (10 min). Firostefani is setteled on the middle of the caldera and you can easily reach other places by bus, car or on foot.
Beaches are to be found on the shallow side of the island, next beaches 10min by car: Exo Gialos and Monolithos.

This house is very spacious and has got real big terraces that you don't share... unlike many other accomodations. The courtyard gives you even more privacy. It's our private holiday home and you will have it for yourself only. It's called SPITI meaning 'house' in Greek and is much bigger than most 'villas' around...
There are some steps down to the house, but unlike many other places you don't need to cope with too many steps...

In August the Megaron Gyzi Festival takes place with renown artists and free admission. And throughout the summer the Santorini Jazz festival in Kamari.
In September, there is the famous International Music Festival. Running for over thirty years, the festival features musicians from across the world playing a series of concerts that include opera, chamber music and jazz.
The Santorini Volcano Festival fills the month of August with concerts and cultural events, dancing and traditions. The festival is rounded off with a huge firework.

Watering the plants once a week. Smoking only outside. Pets negotiable. Hin- und wieder Blumen giessen. Haustiere nur nach Absprache. Rauchen nur draussen.
Ich bin viel gereist und Griechenland hat mich nicht mehr losgelassen. Santorini kenne ich seit 1985 und habe Menschen aus der ganzen Welt kennengelernt - manche Freundschaften haben sich entwickelt. Dass Santorini so kosmopolitisch ist, schätze ich sehr - es gibt keine Touristen-Ghettos.
