The Mountain View Retreat exceeded all our expectations. This is the first year our company decided to ditch the hotel scene and rent a home for our entire crew. There were 9 of us, male and female, so that was ground breaking in and of itself. We each had our own space, bathroom, so we didn't feel cramped or invading one's privacy. That was my first requirement of a home, we had to feel comfortable living together for 5 days and 4 nights.
The house is incredible. The view, the backyard with all the games (bocce, horseshoes, putting green, ping pong), the pool heated to 85 degrees, the patio furniture and fire pit - all just amazing and very comfortable. We visited La Quinta during a rare rain storm. The first 2 days it rained and it was extremely cold, but with all the blankets we were still able to enjoy the outside areas.
Each bedroom was unique with comfortable beds, bathroom had all the amenities, towels were plentiful, art on the walls not the bare walls you find in so many AirBnB's - really like being at your own home, except their art is much better than mine.
We hired a chef for 3 of our meals, 1 for just us and then 2 for our clients. We had dinner for 20 one night and desserts and bocce for another night. The game room was where it all came together, pool table, huge TV, wet bar. We spent most of our time there and at the dining room table working during the day and eating at night. We got more accomplished in 5 days than we have in 5 months and the community feel just made it awesome. We all vowed to never stay in a hotel again during an event like the one we attended at the nearby resort. This is our new way of doing business and I highly recommend that to you as well or just stay at this house for a great retreat. Restaurants nearby, shopping across the street.
Andy, this was the best AirBnB I've been in over the past 3 years. We all appreciate you and your family offering up your home to all of us. We will be back - in November.
