After reading his review I need to take back my recommendation about Garren to other hosts.
I never had a noise complain from any of my guest, please read previous reviews. All guest where surprised how silent my flats are in this vibrant location. All flats have double glazed windows, plus an additional silent acoustic glass panel. You can not get more to protect a flat from noise.
Garren wrote me before his booking he is working in Soho so he knows the area. The question is why a person who is supersensitive to noise is looking for a place in Soho knowing what Soho is. As least he admits in the review he should live less central.
Also very unfair the misleading information about drunken people in front of my bedroom window. The flat he booked is on the 3rd floor, so its not possible to have drunken people in front of the window. Its true that Soho has drunken people walking at night on the streets, but they do not stand forever in front of my flats. There is no bar or pub under the flat. This kind of noise is part of Soho and he was aware of that.
On top he is giving me a negative review because people in the flat above where “quite fond of singing” and walking at night, and it sounded like “tap dancing”. Again no other guest has ever complained before. How can I get a negative ratings for something that is out of my hands. Why did Garren not go up and asked them to be a bit more silent instead of giving me a negative rating. This is all fully out of my control. Or why did you not inform me and I would have told them to be more silent. Besides of that was informed that the flat above was only booked a few days during his stay.
I mostly have business man/woman in there, and none of them ever complained about noise. All of them were happy about the central location and easy access to everything. The noise is the same you have in the best hotels in the area.
An really unfair rating as none of the complains are under my control as I provide technically the best possible.
