Where do I begin? How about with the first phone call from Seveer a couple of days before my scheduled arrival, to welcome me and exchange preliminary details. We hit it off from that first phone call, so by the time I got to his place, I truly felt like I was going to visit a friend. Every conversation with Seveer affirmed that he is a warm, affable, open guy, which made staying at his house comfortable and enjoyable. His house is exactly as it appears in his pictures. I had the basement suite, which provided privacy and was perfect for me; the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The suite has its own bathroom, which was clean and boasted a nice, big shower. Seveer provides clean, plush towels and although I didn't use them, an iron and board are available. The house is conveniently located, a few blocks from Gallaudet and within walking distance of the popular H street corridor. There's plenty of street parking. Seveer left yummy Tate's chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift. I've already decided that his house will be my go to Airbnb destination in DC, because I so enjoyed his company and staying at his house and I think he is a wonderful person.
