We are a little more than a one drive from Beaumont and we're and hour and 45 minute drive from Houston Hobby or Houston George Bush IAH airport.

Excellent accommodations. We had a great time staying at The Lone Palm Resort. The house is spacious, comfortable, and we didn't find it to be lacking in anything. It was nice being able to see and hear the ocean from the master bedroom. Dan goes out of his way to ensure a comfortable and perfect stay. He is personable and responded quickly to our questions . My husband rented a golf cart for the week and was able to drive it to the golf course each day while I photographed birds at High Island. There is a cute new coffee shop with excellent pastries just a few blocks from the property and made for an easy drive through in the morning. The ferry is just a few minutes from the house and we rode that a few times for major shopping and eating in Galveston. We will definitely choose this property again next time we vacation in the area!

Fantastic Stay!!

The Lone Palm...Simply Irresistible
New Year's weather drove us inside for most of our stay but we had all the comforts of home and couldn't have been happier.
The ferry ride to Galveston was fun and after a driving tour we ate lunch at Eatcetera on 25th street. The food and wine were
surpassed only by a perfect service. Absolutely wonderful. Before we left Galveston we stopped at Katie's fish market and loaded
up on fish and shrimp that just doesn't get any fresher. Snapper, grouper, golden tile, yellowfin tuna, ling, porgy, amber jack and
succulent shrimp were bedded on ice up front and prepped any way you like. We will definitely be back.

Perfect hone
Although the weather left much to be desired for a beach weekend, this property definitely made our stay enjoyable. It is beautiful with comfortable beds and linens along with state of the art electronic equipment, and a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and hope to visit again. Moderate temperatures, fewer bugs, low humidity, and a great view from the upper deck out over the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, it's hard to predict when there will be rain or colder temperatures. Fortunately, this is probably one of the best homes on the peninsula if not the best home to be inside. With all of the premium TV station such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax etc. plus extremely high-speed Wi-Fi, it's hard to go wrong in the event the weather goes wrong. Amazing house - worth the money

Having rented several beach houses in different states, the Lone Palm Resort is at the top of our list. The house is incredibly clean and very spacious. The master bedroom is great, the master bath is awesome -with the television in the mirror, and the upstairs balcony is breathtaking. The homeowner quickly responds to any issues, including my husband setting off the alarm, and he checks in on you (by text) during your stay. The ability to drive on the beach makes lugging your stuff a breeze and the proximity of the house to the beach makes for quick and easy bathroom runs, which is very important when traveling with a 6 year old. The house has all the amenities you would need - just bring your food and drinks. Be sure to try Steve's Landing while visiting - everything on the menu was great! Not only would I recommend the house to others - but we will be back ourselves.

Amazing Stay!!!!
Where to start!! What an amazing view from our deck! We loved being able to hear the ocean. The beds were more comfortable than my own and super inviting! I LOVED having a TV in the Master bath mirror and actually watched a movie while in the bath tub! :) Everything about this home is clean, inviting, hip and cool!

Our family always stays in rental homes instead of hotels and we have stayed in well over 10 homes over the years. Dan was VERY accommodating to us and one of the best rental home owners we have encountered.

This home is by far one of the best you will come across and you will NOT be disappointed!! If we ever vacation in the area again (which we probably will), we will DEFINITELY choose to stay here again.

Extended Family Vacation at Crystal Beach
This was a wonderful place to have our first extended family vacation back at the beach I grew up going to as a kid. Great cabin and perfect location not only to the beach but Galveston ferry, the Big Store, restaurants, etc. Really loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view of the beach. The accommodations and amenities were perfect for our 3 families. The E-Z Beds were great for the kids. Dan was very responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. Easter Weekend delight

First, house is amazing. Location to beach is mere steps and the view is breath taking from both decks. Literally bring your clothes, food and frosty beverage of choice. All the essentials plus are there, even towels and linens. Not only is the house itself superb, the owner is always available. Kids will have a blast with its plantation type yard, plenty of room. The electronics in this house will rival any hi tech house. I felt like was in house in an episode of MTV Cribs. The master bathroom is unbelievable. The ladies on our stay had to fight over the Jacuzzi style bath tub and rain shower. My family is already looking at additional stays at the Lone Palm Resort.

Weekend Getaway with Family

What an amazing weekend! The house we rented had everything needed to make our stay PERFECT! It was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog who normally gets left behind. Our toddler loved running around the huge open deck and seeing the ocean. Our dad sat peacefully on the deck reading most of the trip. We went to the grocery store before arriving and the owners had a fully equipped kitchen! Everything you could possibly think of!! Even a ninja for smoothies. It was cloudy our entire stay, but it didn't matter. We had plenty to do and made memories to last a lifetime. We loved it!!

Extremely satisfied

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Gorgeous view. Close to the beach. Incredible entertainment system throughout the house. Everything is clean and well kept. The weather worked out great; it didn't rain at all while we were there. Some foggy mornings, but they all cleared up. The kids stayed so entertained that they forgot all about waterparks or amusement parks. We never left except to get more beverages and snacks.

Rainy Spring Break

The house was beautiful even though the weather was not! Everything was super clean. Color coordinated dishes and cookware were adorable and well stocked. Video games, board games, cards, magazines, books- plenty to keep everyone entertained since we were stuck inside all week. The house is completely tricked out with electronics. Grocery store near by was adequate. The liquor store had an unbelievable wine selection. Thirty yard walk to a lovely stretch of clean beach. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful new house barely off the beach.

This home is still very new. We found it very roomy and the porches were very spacious for us to lay out and feel the sea breeze and hear the crashing waves. Just a flip-flop walk to the beach and on return an outside shower and lots of fresh water spigots to get all the sand off. Very comfortable with plenty of dishes and pans and silverware. We even played frisbee in the large front yard. A special place for making special beach memories. Close enough to Galveston that we visited there often and took a deep sea fishing trip. Yet extremely private beach and neighborhood. Perfect. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Margaritaville on the Beach.

This is a Diamond on the beach. Upon arrival I am taken back to island time, No Worries.
Music greets us upon our arrival. Love that Margaritaville. No need to travel anywhere else. This is the closest place to Paradise, and only a short drive from Houston.
I highly recommend the destination.
Danny and Teresa have tastefully built and decorated this property as if it were their private Beach House.
Check this property out First. It puts All of the others to shame...
No Worries!!!

This is a new (2014) beach home. When it comes to property rentals, we have almost 20 years experience and know how to make your vacation rental a positive time for all. We are 'over the top' when it comes to cleanliness. As owners, we will be getting the phone calls if it isn't right, so we have it fully professionally cleaned and sanitized before each guest arrives. It isn't the Waldorf=Astoria, so we don't have all the cute little soaps and shampoos, but we have convenience and solitude. Crystal Beach has a very laid back atmosphere, which is probably what you're looking for when you get away from the city. Included in the home is a Luxurious California King bed and mattress in the master bedroom, a standard king bed in the front bedroom and two queen beds in the 2nd guest bedroom. There is a queen size sleeper sofa with a comfortable mattress in the living room. We also have two very comfortable queen size E-Z Beds that will sleep two grown persons each. Bring sleeping bags or air mattresses for the kids if you wish. If you try it once, you will be back! Additional discounts available for previous guests!

We do allow events such as weddings, family gatherings, etc. Due to the fact that most residences on Bolivar Peninsula utilize a septic system that limits use, we require a Port-A-Potty system that can be delivered by a local company, Peninsula Residential Services, for a nominal fee. In addition, we require an event fee of $500.00 that covers up to 35 persons. Only guests that are designated for the entire rental period in writing will be allowed to enter the house during the event. All others must remain below deck and must use the Porta-Potty. We will have a representative on site for the event and any violation of the agreement can damage the septic system resulting in immediate termination of the lease agreement. Additional hours can be scheduled at $100.00 per hour.

1.PARTIES: The parties to the Lease are Dan Jacobs (Owner) and (Tenant), who is the same person who books through AirBnB (Online Agent)
2.OCCUPANCY AND USE OF PROPERTY: The property is designated as a non-smoking property, including the decks and grounds. No leasing to persons under 26 years of age. All leases will be at the discretion of Owner or Manager. No spring break, prom, graduation, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or un-chaperoned groups will be permitted without specific written approval. Keys will not be released to any person less than 26 years of age. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Department is notified in advance of all approved non-family events. Any non pre-approved, non-family events discovered to be occurring on the property will result in immediate revocation of the lease without recourse. Illegal drugs discovered by any authority or property manager located anywhere on the property during the term of this lease shall result in immediate revocation of the lease without recourse Tenant shall not assign this Lease or sublet any part of the Property. If you find cigarette butts on the ground upon your arrival, please notify us immediately. We charge for cigarette butt pickup after guests depart. The property is designated for occupancy by no more than 14 persons per night, with a maximum of 14 during the day unless previously agreed in writing. If more than 14 different individuals are found to be in or using the house or its facilities, the lease is automatically terminated without refund and all occupants will be evicted by the sheriff’s department. Parking is limited to 6 vehicles, and must be parked on the leased property only. If more than 6 vehicles are parked on the property without previous authorization, the lease is automatically terminated without (website hidden): Owner Leases to Tenant the property located at 1146 Gulfview, Crystal Beach, Texas, 77650 (the Property)

5.TERM: The term of this Lease commences on the date of the booking request described by Agent unless terminated earlier by reason of other provisions. “Check in” time is 4:00 PM and “Check out” time is 11AM.
6.RESERVATION DEPOSIT: Deposit for this lease is 50% of the balance due, unless check in date is less than 60 days from reservation date, in which case 100% of the rental amount is due. Reservation deposits are non-refundable. For your own protection, phone calls for cancellation will not be accepted. You will be notified in writing of damage charges, if any, and you must settle these charges within 7 days to avoid legal action.
7.REFUNDS: There are no refunds whatsoever unless an evacuation order is posted by Galveston County.
8.CONSTRUCTION: After the devastation of Hurricane Ike, thankfully, the peninsula is rebuilding! We are sorry, but Owner cannot monitor or predict construction in the area. We apologize for any potential inconvenience, however; as we have no control over the building plans of others, we are not able to give refunds or facilitate relocations.
(website hidden) AND VIDEO MONITORING AND RECORDING: The property has an advanced audio and video security recording system that is monitored offsite by a security company and/or management. Tenant will be able to view each camera feed from within the house from two different monitors. Tenant is allowed to cover the cameras for privacy during their stay.
10.EMERGENCY SERVICES: For Fire, Police, or Emergency Medical Services, call 911. Emergency services are located at the corner of Highway 87 and Monkhouse Road, but may not be staffed 24 hours. Emergency services may not be available 24/7 on the peninsula.
11.AIR CONDITIONING: We will arrange to have The Property cooled down for your arrival. Keep windows and doors closed when the air conditioner is in operation. Service calls for misuse or abuse will be added to your lease cost.
12.REFRIGERATORS: Refrigerators will be empty or possibly a few essential items remaining. All refrigerators take some time to cool down after they have been filled from empty. It can take up to 24 hours to obtain a cool temperature, but normally 6-8 hours. Please consider using a cooler and ice if you have items that need to be maintained at an extremely cold temperature. The two bottom drawers break often due to a bad design and you may find them that way. We try to replace them as often as possible.
13.AIR CONDITIONERS: We will arrange to have The Property cooled down for your arrival. Keep windows and doors closed when the air conditioner is in operation. Service calls for misuse or abuse will be added to your lease cost. Air conditioning and heating will shut off when any door is left open for more than 60 seconds.
14.SEPTIC SYSTEMS: All peninsula properties operate on septic systems. Please take care not to abuse the system. All sanitary napkins, diapers, large wads of paper, etc. must be disposed of in garbage cans. Park all vehicles in the drive or on the street. Parking in the yard can cause severe damage to the system. Service calls for misuse or abuse will be added to your lease cost.
15.BARBEQUE GRILLS DANGER: Do not charcoal grill or barbeque on your deck; it is an extreme fire hazard, and is illegal. Do not grill in the garage. All charcoal grilling should be done on the ground level and far enough away from the house that the wind doesn’t threaten the fire. Do not grill or have open fires near the propane tank. Do not dump the ashes on the ground. Allow them to cool, then place in bags by the street. Damage to the deck will be added to your lease cost. We provide propane for the propane grill. Please let us know if the gauge is low. We try to keep it as clean as possible, but some cleaning may be necessary prior to use. The salt air destroys any grill within 2 years.
16.DECK FURNITURE: Deck furniture is provided for your convenience. Please do not take the deck furniture to the beach. The beach is public property, and anything left out overnight may be taken.
17.GARBAGE: Please use plastic liners in all cans. Please place all trash in grey garbage cans located in the white fenced container holder at street. All trash should be placed in cans by the street for pick up on Tuesday and Friday by 09:00.
18.CHECK OUT: Although your property lease includes a $150.00 cleaning fee, this does not mean that you may harm the property. Please treat it as if it were you home. Please remove all items from the refrigerator, bag all trash, and place it in the containers. Please set thermostat at 75 degrees. You may lock keys and garage door opener inside on the kitchen counter.
(website hidden) DETAILS: Your payment includes a $150.00 cleaning fee. This includes the removal and washing of all bed linens, towels and wash rags plus detailed cleaning and sanitization of all bathrooms, sweeping and mopping of all floors, and vacuuming all carpets and rugs. It also includes a full supply of charcoal, propane, bath soap, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, dryer fabric softener, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and large and small garbage bags for a normal one week stay. Upon check in, if you find any of these items missing, please advise us immediately.
20.BATH TOWEL SETS: We supply all linens and towels except beach towels. We provide high quality bath towel sets for the 2 bathrooms. These are not to be taken to the beach. Missing or damaged items will be charged to your credit card. Do not use chlorine on the towels. It will damage them.
21.PETS: Small dogs under 25 pounds are allowed by payment of a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per dog. Property will be black lighted, and a fee assessed for any damages.
22.FLAGS: Please lower the flags if the winds are expected to exceed 50 MPH during your stay.
23.INSPECTIONS: Manager may enter the Property at all reasonable times to inspect, complete, repair or replace the improvements.
24.REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: Tenant shall bear all expense of repairing any damage to the Property caused directly or indirectly by the acts or omissions of the Tenant or any other person therein or thereon by the consent, invitation, or sufferance of Tenant. Repairs shall be completed promptly.
25.WARNING ABOUT COMBUSTIBLES: No gasoline cans, or other holders containing combustible materials, filled or not, are to be placed in the garage at any time due to the possibility of ignition of fumes from the gas water heaters.
26.WARNING ABOUT OPEN FLAMES: There will be no cooking, grilling or open flames in the garage due to the possibility of combustion.
27.VALUABLE ITEMS: There are several very valuable wooden ship models in the home. They are well out of the reach of children on display shelves, and are not to be removed for any (website hidden) REMOTES: There are two RTI remotes. One for the living room and one for the master bedroom and master bath. There is also an portable iPad which functions as a whole home remote control.
29. VIDEO SYSTEM: Any changes to the programming of the audio video equipment may result in total loss of programming. We will not be responsible for any changes you may elect to make to the system without our authorization, and you may be left without Satellite service during your stay. Volume of the outdoor speakers must be tightly controlled in order to prevent disturbing the neighbors. Any calls to the sheriff’s department for any reason may result in a default under this contract, and may result in the termination of this contract and the requirement to vacate the property immediately.
30.STANDBY GENERATOR. There is an automatic standby generator that will self test at random times, once per week for 20 minutes, usually on Wednesday around 2PM. The generator will power most items in the home, however, if the air conditioning is operating, please avoid use of electrical high AMP draw items such as stove, dishwasher, hair dryers and clothes dryer simultaneously, otherwise, overload conditions will occur.
31.DECK SAFETY: The deck railings are not a secure means of preventing falls, and therefore must not be relied upon to contain the movements of children. There is always the possibility any part of the deck railing might fail resulting in serious permanent injury of death. Do not use the deck railing as sitting areas. Fireworks on the deck will burn the deck, and damages will be assessed to tenant. Fireworks discharged on the property will result in the loss of deposit. Fireworks must be discharged on the beach only. A propane grill is provided for your convenience and must be kept at least 3 feet from any part of the home or deck railings at all time when in use.
32.INDEMNITY: Tenant shall indemnify Owner and/or Manager from the claims of all third parties for injury or damage to the person or property of such third party arising from the use or occupancy of the Property by Tenant. This indemnification shall include costs and expenses incurred by Owner and/or Manager, including attorney’s fees.
33.DEFAULT: If Tenant fails to perform or observe any provision of the Lease, and fails to remedy same immediately after notice by Manager, Tenant shall be in default under this Lease.
34.TERMINATION: This Lease shall terminate upon (a) expiration of term, or (b) Tenant’s default under this Lease. Upon termination, Tenant shall vacate the Property immediately.
35.LAW: Tenant shall obey all applicable laws, restrictions, ordinances, rules, and regulations with respect to the Property.
36.HOLDING OVER: Any possession by Tenant after termination shall not operate to renew or extend the term but shall be construed as a tenancy at sufferance of Owner and/or Manager. Any holding over shall result in a $100.00 charge per (website hidden)’S FEES: Owner and/or Manager shall be entitled to recover any and all legal fees with relation to this Lease, plus all costs of such proceedings.
38.NOTICES: All notices by Tenant shall be in writing and effective when delivered to the designated address for payment of the lease payment.
39.WEATHER RELATED: In the event of a hurricane warning (not watch), for the area between Rollover Pass and Pt. Bolivar during your stay, you will be credited with that portion of your stay toward a future stay, and in the event of inhabitable damages, toward a future lease. There is an automatic standby generator that will self test, once per week for 20 minutes.
40.CONSULT YOUR ATTORNEY: This is a legally binding contract. Read it carefully. If you do not understand the effect of this contract, consult your attorney before signing.

We had good time. In general, this vacation house met our expectations. Close to the water, good set up for large groups. Lots of small, but experience enhancing features that made the stay a positive experience. Kudos to the host for attention to the details. It was the minor things like poker cards, towels, cooking and dinning wear that made the difference.

We've been doing this almost 20 years and we try to provide the best bath sets, cooking and dining wear and we're glad you enjoyed them. Something we insist on is having Bath sheets. Dan's house was great! He saved us from having to cancel our whole beach trip and disappointing all of our friends. His beach home is immaculate! Perfect for a few couples and kids as well! Fantastic host very easy to communicate with about anything!

So close to the beach you can taste it! This place is exactly as described. Traveled here for a family wedding on the beach. We had kids aged 2-16 and 5 adults and everyone enjoyed their stay. The beach is so close. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was great. We are a cooking family so we cooked every meal. We couldn't' have asked for a better beach house. If we are back in the neighborhood, we will definitely return!

Dan was a great host. Extremely responsive and provided extensive details for the house prior to arriving. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay and Dan handled them very quickly (even on a Saturday!) The house was perfect for my family's trip to the beach. The house had everything you could possibly need to comfortably stay and cook. There were 8 adults and 4 kids in our group and everyone had a great time. Quick walk to beach and as others have mentioned the patio and all the chairs were perfect for hanging out with the family. The deck is also safely fenced for the little ones.
