Any errors you spot please let me know. I am attempting to be as comprehensive as possible but I may have missed things that should be addressed and over stated things as well. So feel free to talk to me about all. My main ambition is for me to be the Host with the most ;-)
The residence is a 4th floor walk-up (no elevator).
The residence is non-smoking, everywhere.
HOUSE ETIQUETTE The City streets and especially The Mission District sidewalks are “gritty" to say the least. I like to keep an extra clean home so I ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the flat, and designate a pair of “house" shoes/slippers/socks to wear in-doors.
SECURITY DEPOSIT Although I DO NOT charge a security deposit, you agree to be responsible for any damage or loss caused by you. You're also trusted to report accidental damage to the Host when it happens.
No additional guest are allowed overnight or invited over without prior consideration by the Host.
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL; No recreational drugs or excessive alcohol use is allowed on the premises by guest, again unless prior consideration of the Host. We do have many occasions for celebration with friends (This one is a bit tricky as I am grass friendly in an infrequent socially casual way). So I'm not perfectly square .
QUITE TIMES: 10 PM to 6 AM Sunday through Thursday. 11 PM to 8 AM Friday and Saturday
THE SPACE has a Twin bed, feather pillows and down comforter. Two sets of sheets provided. Reading light bedside. There is a ROKU streaming device for your use. Amazon Prime “free video streaming" is on the house.
FULL BATHROOM -shared, towels, shampoo and body wash provided. A hair Dryer is also for your use.
NO ACETONE use in house unless supervised by the host (Ladies you know what this means. Accidents are very costly). I have a very good referral for a nail salon close by.
NO FOOD EATEN in the room; you are welcome to eat meals at home but ask that you dine at the dining table or at the kitchen bar
WORK SPACE Stand-up laptop desk; with a chair, cork board, and pens.
Additional blankets and bed linens are found in drawers of the dresser.
Closet space: to hang your clothes, there is a shoe rack on the back of the room door. The community ironing board and iron are hung in the closet as well.
HOUSE KEEPING I will thoroughly clean the room every two weeks. But the guest should keep it tidy at all times as spot cleaning is on-going.
LAUNDRY There is a washer and dryer for your use and I do supply the detergent(s). Also there is an ironing board and iron. Just ask the Host.
THE KITCHEN is fully equipped and can be used upon request. All clean-up should take place immediately after use. There is NO EXHAUST VENT, certainly an inhibitor to cooking anything that will smoke. The Host should be consulted before you get going in the kitchen, but certainly it can be used.
FULL-BOARD ACCOMMODATION. Let me know in advance what you would prefer eat and drink and I will try to stock and accommodate.
COMMON AREA; of the house is not to be used as a work space. Use of your computer should be limited to your room work space.
THE ROOF DECK; the garden deck on the roof is private to the residence and is the only deck that you have permission to use. It can be accessed by ascending one flight and exiting out of the west facing door. The outdoor heater can be used with supervision from the Host. Eating on the deck or using barbecue is also permissible with Host supervision.
