The house is very modern and well-equipped, in a nice neighborhood. Public transportation is easy to access and the garage made it handy for our rental car. There are bus stops out front, and a few metro stations within a 10 minute drive. The garage is shallow and might not fit a larger sedan or SUV. Beds were really comfortable and bathrooms were very nice and clean.
As the listing says, the house is on multiple levels, but it was more than we expected. The steps are steep and there are four levels - living room and half bath on level 2, master suite/laundry on 3 and two bedrooms and bath on 4. This could be a problem for toddlers or the elderly, as my parents found it challenging.
We only had two complaints about the house. The second level has no curtains on 90% of the windows. We felt exposed watching TV at night with so many other houses facing us. The bedroom windows have paper shades that don't block the light, and the master bath has one window uncovered that required leaving the door open at all times to block the view. We were up with the sun every day.
There is a television in the living room, master bedroom and second bedroom. However, only the living room has cable, which was not made clear before we arrived. Because it was the week of the Olympics, we wanted to be able to watch the games in our bedrooms (especially since there were no curtains in the living room), but this was not possible. The second bedroom had nothing connected to the TV and the remote was missing, making it useless, and the master only had a Roku, which we did not know how to operate. When we asked Brett before arriving if all TVs had cable, he told us "there is cable," but that was misleading. We messaged him to ask again after we were there, but he never replied. Communication could have been better.
We've stated in Air B&Bs before and there were always guides left for us detailing how to use the features of the home, as well as tips on the local area (stores, restaurants, transportation, etc.). There was nothing like that in this house and we felt a little lost at first.
Overall, it is a very nice house and we would still recommend it.
