Hello , My home is approx 200 years old georgian semi detached townhouse over two floors.Upper floor comprising of, two large twin rooms and one large double room jacuzzi bath/shower and wc, landing. Ground floor comprising of, large double bay window lounge, fully fitted dining kitchen, seperate utility room, large dining room, luxury shower room/wc, entrance vestibule/hall. large south facing mature garden with patio and furniture.Front garden, Restricted on street parking .The Complete house Has Recently Been fully re decorated and furnished to a High standard, Lcd screens & wi-fi access available, Central location , 10 minute walk to Edinburgh City centre and The Royal Mile, restaurants, theatres, new royal commonwealth pool, Scottish parliament, shops etc. Local transport only 50 yards away and only 5 minutes into town centre, The front of house overlooks the Salisbury Crag (a dormant volcano) which is easily accessed by foot within 20 mins.

House is in a great location, 15min walk from Edinburgh city centre. House is spacious, comfortable & really felt like a home from home. Thanks a million for being such a great host Jack.

Lovely, solid, spacious, elegant and comfortable Edinburgh house, with garden, in a peaceful neighbourhood within easy reach of city centre. Our second stay, so it felt like a real home from home (only so much nicer than my own!). A very well equipped kitchen with excellent cooker is a bonus, as is the generous, helpful and communicative hosting. Jack has been incredibly kind during what's been a difficult time for us, but I get the feeling he's just that way anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as host, or the property as a great place to stay in a very special city.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Jack's place! There were six of us and it suited everyone perfectly! There is plenty of room - and a good sized garden - it is very well equipped, very clean and a good location for both walking into the centre and for catching buses. Communication with Jack was excellent at all times - we didn't get to meet but Jeanann, Jack's sister, was there to meet us and she was a wonderful help during our stay. Thank you for the three sets of keys as well and the bbq - and the welcome basket especially the wine! We would definitely stay here again- as would our two sons and their friends!

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious house in a convenient location for town centre. Jack could not have been kinder, both in booking, welcome and throughout stay. Highly recommended.

I really like this house. It's clean and comfortable. The hosts ( Jack and Alison) were very nice and helper all time . Really loved this house and I will back to stay in it next time .

Lovely family and lovely home! I spent only 6 days in this house but I felt home since I walked in with a great reception of Jack and Alison! It's nicely decorated and looked after!Very tidy and clean. Nicely located, in awaking distance from nice shops/cafes/restaurants. I'm coming back again soon

We had a great stay at Jack and Alison's home. The house was very nice, with a grand kitchen and a nice private back yard. It was certainly comfortable for our family. Alison greeted us warmly and gave us all the directions we needed. The house is a short bus ride to the royal mile (they come frequently) and a convenient taxi ride from Waverly train station. It is nicely located in a block of houses. We recommend it!

My occupation is publican/chef,I operate several public houses around edinburgh ,
I play Golf (as often as possible), enjoy eating out socialising,
I have many contacts and can help with booking/recommending restaurants,etc,
If Golf is a requirement i am delighted to help book Tee times and can advise on many courses. I am always contactable by phone during your stay, I employ a cleaner who works every Monday 9.30am until 1.30pm. who will continue this service if required at no extra cost. I also have a maintenance engineer if any problems should arise throughout my home.
