Tranquil apartment on the Ridgewood/Bushwick border. We're a super short walk to the subway from which it's only a 20 minute ride to Union Square or Lower East Side and 30 minutes to midtown.
If you want a chill place to come home to this is it!
Ridgewood is that perfect combination of close to virtually everything while being mostly removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. With the L and M train located two blocks away and running all night long, the city can be your playground or Ridgewood can be your retreat from it all.
The apartment itself is wonderful. Hard wood floors throughout, claw foot tub, great windows and natural light. The building is beyond well maintained, with Ana (our live in super) living right next door, where she has lived for 45+ years. The other apartments (6 total in the building) are occupied by families who are all quite nice, but mostly keep to themselves.
When you arrive your room will have a blanket, fresh sheets, a variety of pillows, and a towel. You'll also have a key to the apartment so you can come and go as you like.

I'm a yogi, health coach, world traveler, and entrepreneur who is happy to help you during your stay or leave you alone if you just want to crash after a long day of exploring the city. My male gay roommate is a super busy fashionista who loves NY nightlife and fitness. He's fun and quirky and will talk to you after he's had his morning coffee :)

A huge international supermarket is just at the end of the block, the laundromat with cheap drop off service is just 1.5 blocks away, discount stores and bodegas with everything you need and don't need are all literally around the corner, a 24 hour pharmacy 1 block away, and the subway just 2 blocks away. Hip bars and cafes are also sprouting around here like wild fire!
Cafes I recommend: Fair Weather Bushwick, Milk & Pull, L'imprimerie, Mixtape, Little Coffee Shop, Norma's, Topos Bookstore Cafe// Restaurants: Lucy's Vietnamese, Houdini Kitchen Laboratory, Bunker Vietnamese, Ltauha. Bars: Milo's Yard, Julia's, Onderdonk and Sons, Bad Old Days, and The Monk Belgian Beer Bar... These are super close by but there's way more a short 15 minute walk away.
Please be nice and be happy. Also, no shoes worn in the house, no smoking, no loud music, and cleaning up after yourself is a good thing :)
Even though I'm born and raised in the best city in the world (NYC, of course) I love to travel and have been to over 50 countries. I also spent two years hopping around from Berlin to The Balkans to Bombay!. Some things I love are to-do lists, healthy food, yoga, the moon, meditation, beautiful art, beautiful people and dancing! Can't wait to meet you :)
