This boat is a little old but is constantly being updated with love and comfort.

Its like camping but on the water.

Here's how it works:

1. Pick you up near the Porters Ferry Dock or a suitable waterfront spot in Toronto.
2. I take you over to Hanlan's Point on Toronto Island.
3. I dock the boat at Toronto Island along the sea wall where you will have access to the beach only 300 meters away, and showers and washrooms.
4. You sit and enjoy life on the water or camp next to the boat.
5. Build a Bonfire and roast Marshmallows on Toronto Island.
6. Sleep with the gentle breeze in a floating cabin.
7. Take the Ferry or water Cabs back and forth from the island if you want to tour the mainland, or rent our Canoe, Bikes and Kid Trailer, and enjoy the Toronto Island and all the Kids rides it has to offer.
8. Call me when you are ready to leave and I will drop you where you like on the mainland.

This boat is Kid and Dog Friendly.

Wow what a unique airbnb! I stayed on Robert's boat with my two daughters and we had a great time on the island and hanging out on the boat. The boat is parked at a quiet spot quite far from the centre but it is well worth the beautiful walk across the island each day for activities and each night to get dinner at Centre Island. Definitely bring food from the city as there are no shops on the island and the boat has a fridge. The bedroom was very comfortable and warm and the kitchen was just what we needed and expected for a boat of that size. Robert kindly provided towels and a beach umbrella and we had a great time at the beach just 2 minutes from the boat. We also rented kayaks and bicycles and spent a day at the theme park. I would highly recommend this airbnb if you want a quiet, simple few nights away from the city - it was sort of like camping but much, much better! We will definitely book it again next year.

Robert was a wonderful host and did everything in his power for us to enjoy our time on the boat. The view from the island is spectacular, free WiFi can be found across from the marina, the public showers are very hot with high pressure and there's lots of cute places to visit by bike on the islands. I have to say though, that an effort could've been made on the cleanliness and that it was unfortunate that when it rained the skylight leaked on our sheets. Good thing he had provided us with an extra set! The toilet (next to the bed, I recommend sleeping with your heads at the front of the boat) also gets smelly. Fun experience though!

Robert is a very pleasant host who was responsive to communication and timely with his emails. Very accommodating to our arrival times and last minute changes. Our time on the island was magical. We enjoyed beautiful city views, and a lovely location close to the Hanlan's Point beaches. (There is a "prude beach" in addition to the nude beach. And access to both beaches is clearly marked, so the area is family-friendly.) We were very happy with our stay. The boat is currently under restoration, but not a problem if you are an adventurous traveller and don't mind "roughing it" in a beautiful location. Nothing like being on a boat and relaxing under the stars by candlelight. There are toilets and showers steps away and a small toilet on the boat, There is also power for your laptop, lamps and a radio. Highly recommend this experience! Thanks Robert!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Toronto Islands modest, it had everything we needed. Robert provided ice and bedding and provided us with suggestions as to food choices during our cruise. Docking overnight on the island provided us with a unique opportunity to enjoy the beach, a campfire and a stay on a boat after an afternoon of sailing. We docked within site of the CN Tower while enjoying the tranquility of being a short distance from the city. We discovered the beach (we had been warned) was a clothing optional beach. We only had one sighting and were able to find a location within very close walking distance which included clothed bathers. The public washrooms were very clean. The only real issue we ran into was the lack of power on the boat as we could not locate a power source that was compatible with the boat. We will definitely return. Next time we will remember our marshmallows for our campfire and warmer clothes for overnight.

Definitely worth doing if you want to appreciate Toronto in a new and different way, on the water. We don't know Toronto well and were not familiar with the fact that it has this unusual asset consisting of a complex of car-free islands right offshore. After a day touring the city, Robert met us on the waterfront and we sailed across the harbor to the islands, where we tied up for the night. Robert graciously got us set up, left to take the ferry back, and we slept soundly. It is an odd and almost surreal experience to be moored in a quite, pastoral environment but when you look back down the channel you sailed in from you see Toronto looming so close by, like Oz all lit up at night. Robert was a wonderful help and guide as well.
