Aarhus is known as the City of Smiles, Danish people are known as the Happiest People on earth - combine those two things, and you found the perfect spot for your next journey!
Welcome to Aarhus and to my cozy little apartment in the very center of the city of smiles.
Before you are going any further, and end up falling in love with my amazing apartment in the very center of everything, I would like you to consider the following.
These are the 5 things that previous Guests have loved the most about my apartment – if this is all you, then go ahead and read on and book.
1. The apartment is 100% clean in every single corner.
2. The bed linens are newly ironed and free from suspicious spots.
3. The central location, close to busses, train and airport transfer.
4. Free WiFi - Apple TV - Bluetooth Build-in Speakers
5. Well equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher.
These are the 3 things that previous Guest have dislikes the most about my apartment – if you feel the same, then my apartment is not the right place for you to stay. We’ll just end up getting miserable all together!
1. There can be street noise due to the central location.
2. The apartment is just 49 m2 big.
3. There is only 2 hours free-parking in the area due to the central location
Common Shared Roof Terrace
This building and therefor also this apartment have a huge newly renovated common roof terrace made in solid wood on the 7th floor. There are benches up there, so feel free to enjoy your breakfast or dinner up there - just remember to bring everything you bring with you up there, down again. Including your trash.
Also, please note that open fire, like barbecue and smoking is NOT allowed on the roof terrace, according to City Law and due to the danger of fire. Please look in the Housemanual for further instructions.
Even if you don't want to use the roof terrace, you should go up there, just to get a spectacular view of Aarhus!
When entering the apartment you walk into the combined kitchen and living room (Scandinavian Style) where you'll find my comfy red leather couch, for you to relax in, after a long days walk around town.
There is also a dining table with chairs for 2 people, hangers for your coat and parking space for your outdoor shoes. So please, do not walk with outside shoes in the apartment.
There is also access to the kitchen, which contains everything you need to cook a proper dinner or just preparing a sandwich. There is a hot air oven, ceramic hobs, dishwasher, Tassimo Coffee machine, tea boiler and a concealed fridge freezer. It is all brand new!
- you may use whatever you find in the cupboards, as it is there for the very same reason. Just take some, and if you like, leave some for the next Guests.
There is also a build in Sound Bar in the kitchen, next to the refrigerator. You can connect to it through your phone, tablet or computer via Bluetooth, and play your own music from your own devices.
From the kitchen-living room, there is access to the bedroom, with one semi-hard 140x200 cm mattress and black-out blinds from the windows.
The bed sheets are from the Danish Designer Susanne Schjerning who makes Scandinavian quality linen - to keep the quality high, I roll all bed sheets so they are really crispy and nice to crawl into, after a long day in this amazing city!
There is also a closet for your cloth and 2 bamboo nightstands with an alarm clock and a bedside lamp.
In the closet in the bedroom, you'll find an iron board, iron, vacuum machine and a drying rack.
From the kitchen-living room, there is also access to the bathroom, which have an environmentally friendly water saving toilet, a separate shower with Eco water saver function and a sink with drawers below where you'll find extra toilet paper and towels.
Behind the door, there is a washing machine and a condensation dryer, if the dryer stops drying, you need to empty the water tank. See the Housemanual for further instructions.
Please remember to scrape the walls in the shower with the scraper after each shower - there is a huge amount of lime in the water in Aarhus, and since the tiles are black, it will be visible very fast if you do not do so - and it is really hard getting off again.
WiFi, TV & Other small things
My apartment is all 100% newly decorated and I, as all homeowners looove my home, so please do take good care of it!
However due to the love of my home, I have provided it with everything possible necessary for a joyful stay, like the killer fastest WiFi possible to get in the area! And it is of course free and included in the rental price.
My TV is connected to an Apple TV, feel free to use it, but remember to log-out after each use.
There is also a medium-size TV package with 34 different channels. See the Housemanual for more details.

If you like to cook yourself, there is a Føtex in the very same building as the apartment, you can not miss it when walking in. If you are more to discount shopping, there is a Rema1000 across from the City Hall (250 meters from the apartment)
In front of the Trains Station, there is 7/11 which is open 24 hours. There is also a Kvickly Grocery store inside the mall in the Train Station (Bruuns Galleri)

I’m a Entrepreneur and Broadcast Journalist with a bad case of wanderlust. I traveling between Denmark and Spain due to work and love. When not home in Denmark or Spain I rent out my HOME and so far, I've only had good experience doing that!
My experiences with Airbnb, have put my scribbling mind at work and the result is a book called "How to win at Airbnb" - that was put up for sale in May 2015.
Airbnb encourage me the Host, to tell you the Guest, what my life motto is. It's real simple; "The one who has the ability, has the obligation". So I wrote a book.
