The condo must be kept clean.
Before you leave you will be expected to leave the condo orderly and not a mess.
There is a $25 a week electricity & A/C allowance and this is normally sufficient unless the A/C is abused and left on when you are not there. Electricity is very expensive in Puerto Vallarta and I am trying to be fair. If more this allotment of electricity is used, you will be responsible for the cost.
Check in time is 3PM check out time is 12 noon
Please note that Plaza Mar and all of its owners are in full compliance with the laws of the Country of Mexico, the State of Jalisco, and the City of Puerto Vallarta. Anyone violating said laws which can range from curfew / noise violations to illicit drug usage and lewd behavior will be asked to leave the building on their own or be escorted by the Police for further processing.

Q. How do I get the keys and check in?
A. Plaza Mar is like a hotel, there is someone at the front desk 24 hours a day and they will check you in and give you the keys. There is a small refundable deposit for the keys.
Q. Can I check in before 3PM or can I stay longer than 12 noon?
A. Normally the bookings at Plaza Mar are back to back so the maids need to get in to the condo and clean. You are required to check out at 12 noon. (sometimes late checkouts can be arranged, there would be a $25 USD charge for this service) You can leave your luggage at the front desk till it is time to go to the airport, you can use the pool area during this time. You can check in to Plaza Mar before 3PM and if the condo is clean you will be free to go to the condo. If the condo is not clean you are free to leave your luggage at the front desk and use the pool area.
Q. Is there maid service included in the price?
A. There is maid service 3 times a week at Plaza Mar. Maids do not do dishes or personal laundry. Sheets are changed once a week, towels are changed if they are left on the bathroom floor.
Q. Who do I contact if I have a problem with something in the condo?
A. Please contact the front desk there is some one there 24 hours a day and they will arrange to fix any problems you are having
Q. Is my deposit or payments refundable.
A. The deposit or payments is non-refundable unless I can re-rent the days. If you do cancel and I do re-rent the days I would refund your deposit or payments less 20%. It is recommended that you protect your entire Vacation with travel insurance from Allianz Travel Insurance
Cancellation of ANY RESERVATION OVER A HOLIDAY (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Easter and Mexican Semana Santa) is non-refundable unless the property is rebooked for the EXACT period in which case all monies received will be refunded less 20% administrative charge.
Q. Does the condo come with sheets, towels and beach towels?
A. Each condo comes with sheets and bath towels, beach towels are not provided. It would be best if you bring your own Beach or Pool Towel.
Q. Is there a phone in the unit that can be used for local calls?
A. There is a phone in each condo, and there is a charge for local calls, please ask the rate at the front desk.
Q. Is there internet service and WiFi at Plaza Mar?
A. Plaza Mar has computers in the lobby that you can use for a small hourly charge. There is WiFi (wireless internet) at Plaza Mar and there is a charge for usage.
Con & PH2 offer FREE WiFi. all other condos you will need to purchase a user name and password from the front desk (200 pesos about $15.00USD per week) Set your computer to connect to the Plazamar network and when you open your web browser the log in page should automatically come up. Enter your user name and password and you should be all set.
Q. Does the building have a washer/dryer facility or something close by?
A. There is a washer and dryer on the roof by the pool so you can sit by the pool while you are washing your close. There is a small charge to use the washer and dryer, you would make an appointment and pay at the front desk. Each condo has a Iron and there is a ironing board in the room by the washers and dryers.
Q. Are beach towels provided or in the condo.
A. Sorry but no beach towels are provided, None of the towels or linens are allowed out of each condo. It would be best if you bring your own Beach or Pool Towel.
Q. I would like to know if any electrical adapters are necessary for 120 volt connections.
A. Mexico uses the same voltage and electrical plugs as the USA. No adaptors or converters are necessary.
Q. How far is Plaza Mar from the airport and how much will a cab cost to and from Plaza Mar?
A. Plaza Mar is about 5 miles from the airport a cab will cost $20.00 - $25.00 from the airport to Plaza Mar and about $10.00 - $15.00 from Plaza Mar to the airport.
Q. Is Plaza Mar a secure building and will I be safe there?
A. Plaza Mar his a iron gate that you have to be buzzed into. Simply ring the buzzer and the front desk will buzz you in. Each condo has a iron gate. When you leave the condo it is best that you lock the gate as it is more secure than the wood door.
Q. Is there secure parking at Plaza Mar?
A. There is underground parking at Plaza Mar for $2.00 a day payable at the front desk of Plaza Mar. Parking is on a first come first serve bases. There is normally street parking close to Plaza Mar for free.
