This is a co-ed renovated 3 bedroom basement House on Georgia Ave/Dennis Avenue. Its unbelievable because it is located close to the Forest glen Metro and is a few blocks from Safeway grocery store. This is a good location if you have no car. It's a 15 minutes walk from the house to the metro

John is extremely responsive and nice. Accurate description of the place. I was given a key to the door and too my bedroom. A little swampy when entering and exiting the house when raining. There are 3 different rooms and the one I stayed in was very small with Windows that only expressed the inside if the house, so no natural lighting. Overall a good environment for someone on internship. All the other residents were in internships as well as me. Everyone is screened before coming to the place do you can trust that you're not staying with weirdos:)

I had a great time staying at John's Airbnb. It was a nice opportunity to meet others interning in the area. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Forest Glen Metro (Red Line), and also about a 20 minute walk to the closest grocery stores and laundromats. If you are looking for minimal living and relatively easy commutes to D.C., this is a good choice.

Reasonable experience. A little further from food and the metro than I thought.

Just as promised. Room and apartment are small, but again, that's as advertised. In a nice, safe neighborhood. 15 minute walk to the Metro is accurate. In my experience, the nearby Safeway is not within walking distance, but buses run regularly nearby. John is a very responsive host, and any questions/concerns/ect were always handled within a 24-hour time frame, and in a kind, professional manner. A very good option for a Student/Intern living on a budget. Thanks John!

John was a very good host and patiently replied to all my concerns before my stay as well as being prompt with all his responses during my stay. The room is described accurately: it is small but enough space for 1 person to stay in comfortably and was clean. Linens were provided which was nice. It is a good 20 minute walk from Wheaton station and Forest Glen station but if you are feeling lazy the bus stops on Dennis and Georgia easily gets you to those stations in 5 minutes and the buses are frequent on weekdays.

John's places are all great. The Wheaton\Silver Spring place is a small room about 5-7 minute walk to the road where you can get a bus to either Forest Glenn or Wheaton Metro Stops. Honestly, I walked it most times as its a little less than a mile from the main road. You have a bed, dresser , table and chair. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen: microwave, oven, Fridge, Toaster etc. Up at Wheaton is a big mall with a Target and all sorts of big box stores. Also there is a Safeway on Georgia Avenue as well as laundromat and everything else you need. Silver Spring is a 10 minute bus ride away and thats where the movie theater and the closest major city is. its about a 10-15 metro ride into DC once you are at the metro.

John was very responsive to my communications with him and made me feel incredibly welcome. I arrived an hour earlier than scheduled and he accommodated an early entry for me. He also left a complimentary roll or toilet paper, which is always nice. The neighborhood is pretty, safe and quiet - exactly what I wanted. The inside of the apartment is precisely how John described. I'm 6'4'' which is taller than the ceiling of the shower by a couple inches, but it wasn't bad. While I wouldn't mind a closer residence to the metro station, the twenty minute walk was very doable and a nice way to start each day. The grocery store was also about twenty minutes away. In post-tenancy reflection, I would absolutely stay at one of John's properties again so I gave him five stars. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal.
