MILLIE APARTMENTS, are a block of 4 apartments, located on a small serene street in the reknown suburb, Ntinda in Kampala, 3 minutes walk to the popular Capitol Shoppers Mall, 10 min drive into the heart of Kampala City.

Spacious new apartments, within a block of only 4 apartments. Each apartment has a master bedroom, with a spacious en suite, a large second bedroom with double and twin beds, as well as a second full family bathroom.

Electricity & water are inclusive in the rent except for long term tenancy over 2mths. (p'se REMIND the host to recharge the electricity metre, "Yaka"). House keeping includes, laundry and house cleaning.

1. In the event of an issue, problem or dispute that may arises, you must immediately bring it to the attention of the house keeper. If any such issue is still outstanding you must address it with the Host. If you fail to disclose any outstanding issue, problem or dispute to the house keeper or the host, you shall not raise or register in any public forum any such dissatisfaction following your stay with us. You will be deemed to have accepted that you had a hospitable stay entirely. Therefore, any Negative "Reviews" posted in public forum, that arise when there has been total failure to disclose any material facts or issues, problems or dispute, shall be treated adversely and responded to negatively, in our public forum "Response", including refusal of positive recommendation for you to other hosts.

2. Don't move around or relocate the furniture at all. Please leave the furniture in the exact place you found it.

3. No smoking inside the apartments. You may smoke on the balcony or outside of the premises.

4. When you break or damage anything, please inform the house keeper immediately. Failing to do so may lead to a charge being made against your security deposit.

5. Do not use the linen, towels or hand towels to clean the floor or any mess what so ever. Use a mop.

6. Do not discard the linen, bath towels, hand and kitchen towels in the garbage bin.

7. Don't leave the water heater on indefinitely. Remember to switch it on for 15 minutes and then switch it off. You will get warm enough water for your bath. The weather is very warm in Uganda. Electricity is fairly dear in Uganda.

8. You take full responsibility for the entrance keys. Lost keys shall be charged against your security deposit.

9. You must personally hand over the WiFi modem including the charger, if you received one, to the house keeper prior to your departure.

10. In the event you depart late in the night during the absence of the house keeper, ensure that a full inspection of the unit is done and everything is accounted for by the house keeper during the day.

11. In the event that you feel we have fallen short of your expectation, don't lose your temper please, just lift up your phone and call us. We will be glad to assist you in any way.

12. Essentials (toilet paper, tooth paste, soap and kitchen towels are provided only once, at the begging of your stay. Guests are expected purchase their own essentials there after.

Nice flat. Had a great and very interesting time but - there was no bulb in one of the toilets, the cleaning was only done once a week, the electricity wan't topped up regularly enough, we had no TV for the last few days and there's was noise all night from the bar across the street. If you can live with all this - good luck!

There are two bathrooms and and two toilets. We try to limit electricity consumption by lighting only those areas where we deem necessary. There was no bulb in the second bathroom for that matter. All you had to do is to request for one from the house keeper. She would have provided it. Steve you were supposed to keep the apartment clean as you found it, at all material time. We clean once a week to preserve some degree of cleanliness overall. Steven, you are supposed to clean after yourself. We are NOT a hotel were you expect full cleaning services every day. With regard to electricity, what was your concern about topping the electricity regularly. First of all there wasn't a single moment when you went without electricity Secondly, there is an automatic power backup inverter in the apartment, in the event of lag in topping up. We know you had to remind the house keeper to top up more than once, because your electricity consumption was far beyond average. You always left the water heater on contrary to the rules. We hope you will return to the 'Nice flat' in future. As with the TV, there was basic satellite channels.

The listing description was accurate and the neighborhood was safe (albeit a little loud on weekends as there was a bar across the way). Regina was great for the most part, even being available to help us sort out two extra nights at the beginning of our stay, but the manager, Daniel, was really unreliable. We stayed in two of the Millie Apartments and he didn't get us the second key until over an hour after he said he would (not great after a long day of travel). Then, when a friend was mugged in a nearby neighborhood and lost the apartment key, he was audibly upset when we called him for a replacement and stopped accepting our phone calls. It took over 24 hours for him to finally get us the key, through his brother and the security guard, so we didn't even see him. The other thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that Regina tried to overcharge us for those first two nights, claiming she missed out on a more expensive booking, but when we resisted she backed down and only charged us what was fair.

To set the record straight, I would under no uncertain terms state that; Hannah arrived in the night and Dan was not sure exactly how long Hannah's journey from the Entebbe Airport would take, in light of the endemic traffic jam. By this time the housekeeper had retired. Dan waited for much longer than he could. Dan is not a manager, we only have a housekeeper With respect to a friend who was regrettably mugged, Hannah's friends called Dan's phone in the dead of the night, well after midnight. By this time Dan was fast asleep and was never in position to answer any calls. As a matter of fact Dan only learned in the morning that one of Hannah's had been mugged and had lost the key. We managed to locate the spare key in the morning and it was personally delivered by Dan by around 10:00am and handed over to the security guard, since by this time Hannah's friends had left for their rendezvous. Hannah, in her review was untruthful, dishonest and not forthcoming in the following regard. 1. From the time Hannah's friend was mugged to the time the key was delivered at around 10:00am, it wasn't really yet 24hours but under 10hrs in the time when Dan was deep asleep. 2. Dan no brothers literally living the City. Dan never sent anybody but he PERSONALLY delivered the key to the security guard. How could Hannah and her friends know that the key was delivered "through his brother' when all of them had left for the conference, the reason why the key was left with the security guard. 3. Hannah failed to tell the truth when she stated that Dan was audibly upset when they called him for a replacement and stopped accepting their calls. The truth is, Dan never heard any calls because he was deep asleep. He only learned in the morning, what transpired and delivered the key after locating it. 4. Up to now Hannah has refused and/or failed to pay for the extra two nights her friends spent with us. 5. Hannah has refused and/or failed to pay for the replacement key her friend lost. It's our position that Hannah's review is untruthful, not forthcoming, malicious, defamatory.
