This Oceanfront Unit is a very private unit in the front (ocean facing) portion of a duplex home. The 1000 sq ft area is very bright with a large entrance foyer & laundry area (shared with Rear Garden Unit), a spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is a large deck, with a BBQ, that spans the front of the house overlooking the ocean ... the sunsets go on forever!!!
The home is fully furnished including full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher & microwave, washer and dryer. There is hd satellite television as well as hi speed internet (phone is not provided). The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with staple food items. Dishes, cutlery, linens and towels are supplied ..... just move in and enjoy!

Guests have access to the 1.5 acres grounds and are encouraged to spread out and enjoy! For those with RVs, campers, etc there is lots of parking on the property.

We live an hour away from this Vacation Home but have a small apartment, with separate private access, at the rear of this duplex home (Rear Garden Unit). In the event we're needed at the house, for any reason, we stay in the apartment so as not to intrude on guests' privacy. Upon occasion, we may have a family member or friend staying in the unit. Oceanfront Unit guests are left on their own to enjoy their stay but, if required or invited, we're pleased to make ourselves available to assist in any way.

The home is on a well so it is necessary for guests to kindly respect our request to NOT over-stress the system. Please space showers or baths and DO NOT run the washing machine OR dishwasher OR take showers at the same time. We appreciate your consideration. Thank you.
Upon booking, we will provide guests with a Vacation Rental Agreement & Information Sheet. Basically, we expect normal wear & tear while others use our home and would hope guests will treat our home as their own .... with respect and a sense of responsibility. Pets will be considered. Smoking is allowed outdoors.

In addition to running B&Bs for over 15 years, Dwight was a transit operator for 35 years while Barbara was in management and fund development for the arts. More recently we've worked together, throughout Canada & USA, as Floating Managers for luxury retirement communities. This work presented a wonderful opportunity to experience different parts of the country while enjoying the friendship, wisdom and perspective of countless seniors. It also got us hooked on a pared down lifestyle that allows for a variety of adventures. We love the magic of meeting so many different people along the journey!
