This is our former home in Warsaw. It is a modern, comfortable 4th floor flat in a green district of central Warsaw with big open rooms, all mod cons and a stunning view of the city centre. We love it dearly. Still our home off and on, its fully furnished, sleeps up to 5 including the sofas in the living room and has a great open plan dining kitchen ideal for communal eating. 20 mins walk from the Palace of Culture and central train station, its a perfect base for seeing a city that has come alive in the past decade, ditching, we think, its reputation as a town of grey tower blocks and little to do. The nightlife is fantastic, the city's parks - starting with Pole Mokotowskie five minutes walk away - are a summer joy, and the history is everywhere, supported by a string of new museums which lay bare Poland's dramatic last century. The area's main string of shops and restaurants, ul. Grojecka ,is five minutes walk away or you can head for Plac Zbawiciela, four minutes by tram from across the road. Round the corner there's a park-side cafe where we have quiche, cake or coffee regularly. We would love to have you.
