Built in the 1970's, this house is retro style. It is furnished with original furniture , carpet floors and wallpaper all original.Surrounded by lovely trees and creek over the road.
The house accommodates 6 people. There is also a cabin which accommodates 4 people. The property is ideal for a couple, a family or 2 groups of friends. If you like the older style, you will be comfortable here. The village is quiet and friendly. You can at your own pace discover the magic of Currarong's beauty.
Currach Cottage is set amongst a beautiful cottage garden. Opposite is a small stream running down to Currarong Creek.Accommodation caters for a couple or 2 families. There is plenty of grassed area for BBQ entertaining, kids cricket or totem tennis. There is a covered outdoor area out the back. There is a TV with a VCR/DVD. Gas Heating.
The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed overlooking the garden and the second is furnished with double bunks. An older style (retro) spacious kitchen and lounge room. Enjoy the early morning bird calls and a one minute walk to the creek and craft cottage.
The Cabin is equipped with a queen sized bed and a new day bed with a trundle. Included is a kettle,microwave oven, toaster, fridge, crockery, cutlery , a sink with hot and cold water. A toilet and shower is a short walk outside along a path.
You can enjoy a two minute walk to Zac's seafood restaurant ( he catches the fish himself) or enjoy various raffles and a meal at the Currarong Bowling Club. You might even walk past a few kangaroos on your way. There are two tennis courts and a tiny church.
Enjoy Jervis Bay National Park, Jervis Bay Marine Park,dolphin and whale watching,kangaroos and echidnas
There is plenty of room to reverse a boat in on the grass and access to hose to wash it down.
Swim in the natural rock pool for an early morning refresher.
A wonderful property surrounded by both the bush and the sea. Where else can you enjoy both !
Currarong is 2 1/2 hours drive from South Sydney. it is on the perimeter of the Jervis Bay National Park

The property is only a minutes walk to the creek, leading to Warrain beach.

The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. You can wake up to the calling of native birds and if you are lucky see a kangaroo in the street at night.
