This original Shepherd's cottage on the land of Finca Franceses is a romantic hideaway! It's been restored to incorporate a kitchenette, toilet, shower and has a patio and balcony with exceptional view over the sea, El Tablado and Caldera Ridge. Breakfast optional extra.
If you're looking for a quite getaway, this is a little piece of magic. If you're mad keen on walking, it's right by the GR130 Camino Real and only 50m from the bus stop.
Free 6 page area guide, GR130 walking info and more!
Fabulously placed half way between Barlovento and Santo Domingo in a very rural area on a spacious finca. The main thing that amazes people is the view which is truly panoramic as it overlooks not just the whole of the Bay of Franceses but also El Tablado and the upper ridge of the island.
With your own cooking facilities, there is also the large farmhouse kitchen with log fire for you to enjoy whenever you want, plus a stone-build bodega for you to enjoy candlelit dinners :)
Single beds are also available, just ask at time of booking!

Happy to help with walking information (we've walked the whole of the GR130 and GR131 ourselves). Can also help with other accommodation en route or for sightseeing and relaxing holidays - you only have to ask. Other than that, we leave you alone :)

My partner and I moved from York in the UK to La Palma in 2002 where we bought an old farmhouse. It took quite a long time to restore it but we had a lot of fun along the way.
We did a lot of traveling before - searching for a new home took us to Turkey, mainland Spain and the Bahamas. In 2009, we went to Hong Kong and China, that was brilliant! But now we concentrate more on La Palma because there is so much to discover and walking is our passion. In 2010, we walked the whole of the GR130.
We are always really pleased to meet guests, new and returning, who can enjoy at least a short time in this beautiful place.
