This architecturally designed property is unique and beautiful, a naturalists delight. Open space amongst the unspoiled spotted gum forest, a wonderful sheltered area with full facilities for expanded outdoor living, including camping and/or caravans. Attention to detail with the inclusion of many large sculptures and art installations around the grounds. This is sustainable living on the pristine south coast of NSW Australia. The Cubby is a perfect escape with everything you would need for a lovely get away, romantic seclusion, artist/writer retreat or special gathering/event.

From Bermagui: Take Tathra-Bermagui Road south Tathra-Bermagui Road towards Tanja. Turn left, into Haighs Road continue turn left into Penders road. Then keep your eyes peeled for the Sacred Thong Tree behind the Thong Gate. Enter through the gate...Remember to close it behind you. The car park is first on the right after 2 speed bumps, turn into the gravel park beside the upside down boat on your right. We will greet you and show you to 'The Cubby'. The closest beaches are 1.5 and 2kms down dirt roads.

'The Cubby' is located away from the main house, to ensure each others privacy.
Wireless internet is available upon request in the carport of the main house.
Mobile reception is extremely poor on the property, we take our mobiles to the beach or local towns to get our messages.
We have a land line in case of emergency.
Please keep the Thong Gate closed at all times.
No smoking inside (bin your butts) and no pets.
We ask all our guests to take full responsibility for their wellbeing and actions, by being mindful of natures potential dangers. Including the supervision of under 12's.
We are located in the National Park and ask you to adhere to the Leave No Trace principles - this refers to a set of outdoor ethics promoting conservation in the outdoors. It is built on seven principles: Plan ahead and prepare, travel and camp on durable surfaces, dispose of waste properly, leave what you find, minimize campfire impacts, respect wildlife, and be considerate of other visitors.
We ask that only paying guest may enter the private property. There are many other lovely locations near by, for meeting up with friends and family. Bithry and Middle have lovely picnic spots. Please refer to our recommendations for cafes and favourite spots.
