It's a house full of people & different schedules. So please use ear plugs if necessary. This listing is for a private room with a double bed on the lower and a single bed on top.

Hacker home is such an awesome place to live when you're in the valley. Vic arranged a bike for me I could use to get to the office daily and it was great. Things like piano, hot tub and pasta making machine surely add to the vibe. I'm especially proud that together with other dwellers we've hacked the garage door into a voice-controlled one. And the people you meet there make you wish you've stayed longer.

This was already my second stay at the HackerHome Santa Clara. And again, I felt very welcome ;-) I arrived just before midnight and found my bed with the typical Towel Roll and the personal, handwritten Welcome on a card. Staying at a HackerHome doesn't mean to just have some accommodation. You can be part of a community if you want to. There's a lot of cooking, movie watching, music, barbecuing, talking, relaxing and even learning together. The "Home" in HackerHome has a literal meaning. You really feel at home, even though you may be I also met a couple of guests that I already met 1,5 years ago. Which means, once you experienced the soul of the HackerHome, you will always come back here again. I will definitely book the HackerHome Santa Clara again when I go to the Bay Area next time. Vic is such a great host who really cares about all your needs. I have never met someone like him before !

Super nice piace. Vic is a perfect host, very well organized and the the people in the house are very friendly and open To shere commun moments. Problably the only thing a little uncomfortable is that you have just two death rooms to share in 10 people. Recommend to young people!!!

As usual, the Santa Clara HackerHome felt like a home away from home. I'm always amazed by how friendly and interesting the other people staying at the HackerHomes are and I love the events Vic organizes for networking (and partying). Special mention this time for the hot tube which is great when nights get a little colder. Good Stuff! Vic, I'm looking forward to the next time I come!

It's really nice. The house is spacious and light. Backyard is a nice place for parties, which Vic makes every now and then. The pool really helps during hot summer days. There are always friendly people around and all the guests were really enjoyable to talk to. But if you're not into making friends and got work to do, no one will disturb you. There is everything you need for cooking, washing/ironing clothes, riding bicycle, playing video games and partying :)

5/5 stars. Vic is the man. I don't think there are enough good words to describe him, he goes so far out of his way to accommodate you. Yea the private room is clutch for a solitary work & sleep space, but if peace, quiet, and solitude are what you're looking for, go get a hotel. This place is for people looking for a buzzing family-style atmosphere. There's always music coming from the piano or guitars, people chilling by the pool, biweekly get-togethers, and gourmet asian cuisine when Sarah is home. Walked into the Santa Clara house and immediately felt like a part of the family. Housemates are sweet. Geniuses and visionaries routinely pass through. Left 2 hours ago, already looking for excuses to come back.
