Our home is in Nea Iraklitsa, a beautiful beachside village just a few minutes west along the coast from Kavala. Famous for it's huge beach and calm waters, it's the perfect spot for families looking to have a relaxing time in the sun.
Nea Iraklitsa, Kavala. You won't have heard of the place, because it's the best kept secret in Greece. A place so beautiful, I struggle to find anywhere that matches it for the scenery, the beaches and the fantastic food and nightlife on offer.
But then, as my family is from there, I may be a touch biased. Take a look at the photos and you decide.
The house is set out over two levels. and comfortably sleeps six, with two air-conditioned double bedrooms, and one sofa bed in the top floor, open plan living area which also has air-conditioning.
Visitors staying in the house would need to negotiate a couple of staircases, so it wouldn't be suitable for the less mobile guest.
There is off street parking, for one car, and both places come with all usual amenities - TV, Fridge, Cooker, Stereo, Washing Machine, etc. We also provide all the linens and towels, so there is no need to waste packing space on these. If there is anything specific you require, please ask and we can accommodate.
The house is open for booking at the busiest time of the year, which is June-September, so book early :)
See you soon...!

My mother, Martha, will be available for the duration of your stay. She can be as involved as you need, but she will welcome you on your first day and then take you into the village of Iraklitsa to show you around, and give you guidance on what to do and see in the area.
She loves to host people, especially families with children, and can be involved as much or as little in your stay, as and when you need.
This is our family home, so the primary rule is that you treat it with respect. You look after it, and we'll have no issue looking after you too :)
If you want to have people around for a party, please ask our permission first. We have neighbours to consider and as much as we all like to have fun, you're staying in a residential area. So please, do ask us first.
If you want to have extra people stay over night, then it is imperative that you ask our permission first as this will incur an extra charge, dependent on the number of people staying in the house in total.
Hopefully, what you pick up in the these House Rules is that we just need you to communicate with us if your circumstances change, and if more people/resources will be involved in your stay. If we're happy with everything, you will be too :)
The only other main rule, and my Mother will remind you when you check in, is to not flush any tissues or papers down the toilets as the waste and water system is very Greek. This is a standard request across must locations in Greece, so it is something you'll get used to, but please try to remember that it applies in our house too. The last thing both you or we will want is a backed up system :)
