On the top floor of an older building: 10 min from LAX, walking distance from bars/diner/restaurants. Freeways near. Sweet indoor-only older cat that must be fed.

2 guests max with no exceptions. Our apartment is on the top floor of a 3 story, older building in West Los Angeles. Rooftop access (ends at 10pm) for smoking/gazing, etc. is down the hall, right past apt 335. We have a big screen tv with the Amazon fire stick, and wifi. 2 people can sleep in our tempurpedic bed, or you can split up with one person on the couch - just use a cover sheet on the couch! Full access to our small kitchen. You must feed our cat every day and make sure he doesn't get out the door, which he doesn't try unless it's left open.

10 min drive to LAX. 3 mile drive to Venice Beach/Venice Boardwalk. 55 min walk to Playa del Rey beach, down the Ballona Creek bike path. 20 min walk to grocery stores. 5 min walk to restaurants.
OFF LIMITS: anything behind the shoji screen in the living room and our bedroom closet! Any drawers/cabinets are off limits except in the kitchen. If you need anything text or call me, NEVER the manager!

You can text or call me any time (never the manager!), and please do, for any questions about how to use the tv, where things and places are, the cat, etc. If anyone asks, you are a friend visiting me!

You need both a building key and an apartment key. I will leave both in the fire hydrant box at the alternate entrance to the building - please only use this entrance for your entire stay! (Never the main lobby). Facing the building from the street, the alternate entrance is to the left of the main lobby, and to the left of the garage at the top of the driveway, and is kind of hidden behind a tall bush. Once inside the door, take the stairs all the way up to the top floor, you'll turn right (thru a door), and take the hallways all the way around to apt 339 (peace doormat and chimes). You will leave the keys in the apartment when you check out, and lock the apartment door knob behind you.

DO NOT USE THE MAIN LOBBY ENTRANCE! you will find your key at, and use the alternate entrance to the building (facing the building from the street, the alt entrance is to the left of the lobby, and to the left of the garage at the top of the driveway, behind a tall bush.)

NO SMOKING (except on our rooftop before 10pm - just remember that you're here visiting Debbie and she's at work!

No other pets besides my grumpy but absolutely harmless and sweet, lap kitty. Trust me, he won't tolerate other animals! And unfortunately, NO KIDS either (also because of the cat! It's just too risky because he's old.) Obviously you need to be nice to my cat. In the unlikely event that you smell the litter box before the end of your stay, you're welcome to scoop it out and take the bag to the trash shoot right down the hall right past apt 330.

We've never had a noise complaint against us, and we must keep it that way. We have a new, nosey manager, and he's not as chill as our old one. Steer clear of him, and if anyone asks, you're just a friend visiting me (while I'm at work!) (We live in a huge place with a ton of units, so the probability of seeing the manager can be slim!)

Do what you will, but don't take anything, don't break anything, and clean up after yourself please :)
Don't go through any drawers/cabinets except in the kitchen. If you need anything please text/call me and ask.

We'll be coming home from vacation, too, so please leave the apartment clean just like you found it!

Also, this is the cat's apartment, too. You can't close him out of the bedroom, leaving him alone and cut off from half of the apartment. He's a social kitty and wants to be around at least one person if anyone is home. Otherwise he'll scratch the bedroom door and cry all night.

Debbie's place was awesome! Beautiful views and a pristine location. Two blocks from an excellent running path that leads to Playa Del Rey. Two blocks to the best Mexican food in West L.A (Pepes Taco Shop), and two blocks to 90 West Lounge to grab a drink. Debbie was very accommodating with our arrival and departure. The ambiance of the apartment was relaxed, colorful and Mr. Star was awesome. Mr. Star was an added bonus to an already exquisite abode for our stay. We will absolutely come back to stay again!

that is awesome you found the bike path AND our local dive, the 90 West Lounge! We are regulars in there, in fact, Preston used to bar back there every Thursday, and my band is playing a show there in a few weeks! I'm curious as to why you call him Mr. Star? because you're not the first! Did I call him that on the site? If not, we decided that Star DEMANDED you call him that, with his serious look - haha :)

We stayed here for about a week, and it exceeded our expectations. It was laid back, comfortable and close to everything we needed. Debbie was accessible, friendly and welcoming. Star was equally as pleasant. The bed was comfortable to say the least. Overall, our stay was ideal.

Debbie was very friendly and accommodating. Very easy to get a hold of, and was prompt to respond to texts. Friendliest cat we've experienced. My girlfriend doesn't like cats. This one restored her faith in cats. Good facilities, clean and a great place to stay. Also, there is a lot of free street parking available right across the street from the apartment. Highly recommend. Thank you Debbie!

Debbi is very responsive and helpful. No problem to find accommodation. It's clean and fresh. White cat live in app. But we have every day little problem with parking. Better use space inside instead Debbi's car :)

Debbie's place is great!! First off, she couldn't be friendlier. She's super nice, helpful, detailed with her instructions, and great! The apartment is in a good location-close to Santa Monica, Venice, and you can also hop on the nearby freeways pretty easily! Also, only about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. The apartment has an awesome rooftop that I wish I could have enjoyed more, but still relaxing and peaceful nonetheless with a nice view! The place was super clean and very welcoming once inside. I immediately felt like I was at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thanks Debbie!! Bonus-her cat Star is awesome! Super sweet kitty. :-)
