Situated in a quiet pocket minutes from the bustle and buzz of Byres Road, your new home in Glasgow is an absolute delight. Furnished to a high standard, yet comfy and warm, I've made this wonderful apartment into a most welcoming and comfortable space. The flat is situated in the heart of the desirable West End area, just a few minutes from the University campus and buildings.

In the flat, you have access to all the fully furnished facilities that you could need - including the luxury kitchen, bathroom and lounge.

Glasgow's Botanic Gardens are so close that I think of them as the front yard. The flat's back yard is a wonderful tree-lined oasis of quiet and guests are free to use this space to relax in whenever they want.

The immediate neighbourhood is quiet, though some fine cafés are located literally a hop, skip and a jump away on Queen Margaret Drive.

Byres Road, and all it's wonderful attractions, is a 5 minute dander from the flat. This area offers some of the best restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops that Glasgow offers, with Ashton Lane especially proving perennially popular.

Public transport links are fantastic with both Hillhead and Kelvinbridge underground stations, and a wealth of bus connections, only a matter of minutes away. For Drivers, Great Western Road is seconds from the door and it offers quick access to the main motorways and roads in and out of the city.

We don't have many rules to be honest but most of the floors are original, and newly sanded, and so I have a shoes off, kettle on rule! :)

We ask that guests respect the home and neighbours while staying.

Check-in is from 3pm, with check-out being up until 10.30am. Early check-in or late check-out can usually be negotiated.

We prohibit the apartment being used as a party venue, or any other kind of event. Filming or photo shoots are not permitted within the property. The property is exclusively for the use of booked guests. We do not accept bookings from stag or hen parties or from groups under 25.

Un appartement hyper lumineux, calme et super bien situé pour un séjour tres cool a Glasgow à 2 pas du Botanic garden. Les equipements sont parfaits et David est aux petits soins pour vous accueillir! Une super adresse a conserver!

We had a great stay at David's place. The location is perfect to visit Glasgow and to explore the highlands by car. The place look like in the pictures, is very confortable, and the house is supplied with everything you might need during your stay. David was really nice and helpful, he even sorted out an early check in for us and let me a graduation present! I totally recommend the place.

I had a wonderful stay at David's flat. The flat itself was homely and had all the finer touches, everything was catered for. The location is perfect for exploring such a marvellous city. David couldn't have been more tentative, I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone. Alasdair

We had a wonderful stay at David's place over Christmas. The flat is beautiful and very comfortable. It was so cool to look out of the kitchen window and watch the weather coming in over the mountains. The location is fantastic too - walking distance to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants as well as great shopping and the Botanic Gardens. David was a great host and the flat is set up really well with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will be back!

David's is a wonderful apartment in a fabulous location. It accommodated six adults very well and we appreciated David's welcome when we arrived.

We had a fabulous stay at David's place- it was ideal. David was incredibly welcoming on arrival, showed us where everything was and how it all worked and then left us to make ourselves at home, which we duly did... It wasn't hard at all! The flat is perfectly located, with supermarkets and coffee shops walking distance away and free parking outside. I would 100% recommend!!

David showed us around the flat, explained the house rules and how things worked. It is a very pleasant flat in a nice area, and very handy for the west end of Glasgow.

I spent a few years living and working in Canada and Australia, and so these two countries will always have a special place in my heart. Some of my other most memorable trips include - Iceland, Mauritius, Borneo, Jordan and India. Currently the wonderfully vibrant city of Istanbul comes at the top of my favourite cities list, with New York, Helsinki, Lisbon and Budapest currently fighting it out for second place!

Long term firm favourites of mine are Led Zeppelin, Prince and Pink Floyd, but right now I'm very much enjoying Mercan Dede's modern twist on traditional Turkish music and a taxi driver's Bedouin CD I copied hurriedly in the back of his taxi in Agadir.
