The 'Shack' was built 9 years ago by your hosts Francis (boat builder) and Anne (Jack of all trades); to accommodate family and friends and has recently been upgraded to The 'Cabin' now offering self contained accommodation for guests. Nestled in the garden of your hosts home with picturesque views down the valley over fields and woodland the Cabin offers peace and tranquility.
The Cabin has a large separate bedroom with double bed, airy living area with kitchenette, wrap around decking to catch the morning and evening sun, and adjacent 'privy' with shower and very posh compost loo.

Guests have the use of our garden with their own secluded area with garden table and chairs.

I love where I live, close to the sea which has always been a big part of my life (and still is a big part of my husbands) but also in the beautiful Cornish countryside. I love my animals and garden and am a country girl at heart! I love travelling as well, exploring new places and having adventures. In the past I have traveled to Caribbean by boat, sailed around the UK and parts of the Med. More recently traveled to Finland - winter sports, Thailand - island hoping, Egypt - white desert and Nile exploration. My bucket list seems to just get longer! This year (2015) sailing in Croatia.
As a host I would love to share the beautiful cabin we have created together in our garden. A combination of our various skills of carpentry and artistry have we hope produced a lovely unique space for friends, family and guests to share and enjoy. There is a definite nautical theme even down to the reclaimed railings and other bits and pieces from various film sets!
I am also a holistic therapist and have a passion for my work and helping people where I can. Sharing and learning from other cultures, philosophies and methods of healing is of endless fascination to me - life is just so full of wonderful surprises!
