We have 4 old dogs that chose our home 10 years ago and sleep in the garage. They bark to let us know we have company, but other than that are perfectly friendly.
There is absolutely no smoking in the home or on the premises. Sorry.

I am a general pediatrician living on a rural estate I would love to share with others. It is a sanctuary. A place to get away and relax, and/or visit local agricultural treasures: the alpaca farm nearby with alpaca wool to sell and home roasted coffee, the goat farm with national award-winning cheese production (you can see how they do it), the pleasures of recreation on the largest lake in Georgia (does lake Hartwell on a pontoon boat with a catered lunch or dinner sound good?) I have late teen children learning to fly the coop and busy with extra curricular activities, and I miss hosting individuals or families from all over.
There are two sides to the home with a fabulous kitchen in between, so guests can have privacy and yet be hosted and pampered by a family if so desired. We love good food, conversation, and books. We love walking in our woods and fields, and showing off the surprising things a rural community has to offer: blues & blue grass every Saturday night? for example. Quiet places to paint or write. A local writer's workshop hide-away. A good cup of cafe au lait on the back porch, watching the wildlife wake up in the morning.
