We have added a 10K BTU A/C unit downstairs, so others who might not appreciate fresh island tradewinds flowing through the guesthouse can be comfortable with all of the windows closed in the afternoon in July. We are never happy to hear that a guest is experiencing any kind of discomfort, especially not until AFTER they have already departed and there is nothing we can do to correct the situation for their stay. Had we known you were uncomfortable, we could have taken corrective action and also directed you to the guest guidebook which has detailed instructions for optimal comfort in our unique home/environment. The check-out instructions could have been pointed out as well, which would have been helpful to the turnover crew. We will ensure that the guest guidebook is placed in a more prominent location going forward! Rest assured, however, the cooling situation has been addressed. Thank you again for the feedback.
Note: We've had dozens of guests stay with us who are on business. In fact, we've been extremely happy to have repeat business travelers as guests--it's fun to see our guests return and reinforces our belief that we offer a quality product with immediate action to voiced concerns for all of our visitors, regardless of the purpose of their trip.
