Close to it all, yet worlds away... This hidden cottage is perched atop a glorious bluff on a 23 acre gated mountaintop estate overlooking the lush Santa Monica Mountains. Escape down the country lane into complete privacy and serenity, yet be less than a mile to restaurants, entertainment, yoga and stores. Hike in 10,000 acre Topanga State park or take in the many nearby beaches. Shop the high-end boutiques of Malibu or Santa Monica, enjoy glorious sunsets and misty mornings or bike the hundreds of miles of trails of Topanga State Park straight from the front door. Horse riding facilities, theater, surf lessons, kite boarding, artist studios, seasonal festivals, Docent-led nature walks, miles of beaches all within 30 minutes of studios and Hollywood.
The Cottage has full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry.
2 bedrooms, one bath. The bath has a large tiled shower and laundry. Huge living area opens to a private park-like back yard with fruit trees and views. The cottage is bright and bathed by the sun through the huge windows.
Watch the sunset under beautiful ancient Oaks and Pepper trees. Buy fresh produce, jams and baked goods at the weekly Farmers market. Fall in love with the LA lifestyle.
Cleaning: A $100 cleaning fee has been added to your bill. Cleaning shall occur
after check out. Tenants shall be responsible for any undue and/or unreasonable
cleaning of the unit immediately subsequent to the Tenants’ departure above and
beyond the normal cleaning. A cleaning charge of $15 per hour, with a one (1)
hour service minimum will be assessed should additional cleaning be necessary.
CHECK-IN/CHECK -OUT PROCEDURE
1. Check-In. Check-in time is 3PM on the day Tenant’s scheduled reservation
begins. Upon arrival, Tenants will be given their key(s) and gate access code, as well as any special instructions or updates that may be applicable to the Unit.
2. Check-Out. Check-out time is at 10AM on the day Tenant’s scheduled
reservation ends. If you need a later check out, please ask and we will accommodate if possible!
IV. USE AND ENJOYMENT OF UNIT AND PROPERTY
1. Use of Premises. Tenants shall only use the Premises as a residence. The
premises shall not be used to carry on any type of business or trade, without prior
written consent of Owner. Tenants will comply with all laws, rules, ordinances,
statutes and orders regarding the use of the premises.
Quiet Enjoyment: Tenants shall be entitled to the quiet enjoyment of the
premises, and Owner will not interfere with that right, as long as tenants do not
interfere with those rights of other tenants.
Smoking: Smoking is not allow on the premises under any circumstances.
Water and Septic: The house is on a septic system. The septic system is very
effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH
anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.
Pets: Pets are not allowed in the unit.
Use of Grills: Grilling is permitted only on concrete patio and on the grill provided
with the unit. OPEN FIRES ARE ILLEGAL IN THE SANTA MONICA
MOUNTIANS AND ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
Locked Areas: Areas that are locked, such as Owner’s personal storage spaces,
for which Tenants are not provided a key, are off limits to the Tenants.
In the event that a unapproved pets, parties or additional individuals are found
to be staying on the premise during your stay that are not allowed per
agreement, Landlord/owner shall have the right to ask you to leave the
premises immediately with no refund of monies paid.
