It's a 1 br on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. A short walk from Central Park and Museum Mile. Many restaurants in the area. Close to the subway. A short subway ride from Times Square. I usually walk to the theatre district (Times Square). It's a little over 2 miles. But most of that is through Central Park.
Book the small room with cot and bunk bed for $80/night.
I'd stay in the apartment with you. But the small room is good for guests because they can have the bathroom to themselves at night.
It's on the 1st floor. There's a garden, grill, picnic table, chairs. I'd provide charcoal.
A small, fully equipped kitchen.
36" flat screen TV
Bunk bed style beds. You can see the beds in the photos. They're single beds, but I've had 3 guests stay in the room on numerous occasions.
Phone available for local calls.
Laundry facility in basement, but I've never given guests the basement key. I've always put the laundry in for guests if laundry needed to be done.
Free street parking (but have to watch those street cleaning hours)
Linens, towels, soap, shampoo provided.
It's great for kids. My son stayed here with me on weekends when he was younger.. So all his toys and games are available. There's a small basketball and hockey set in the back yard. Let me know if you're coming with kids and I could possibly even make his Wii and Nintendo Game Cube available.
Smoking OK, but I don't smoke and no one has ever smoked in the apartment.
Now to Broadway. I've done 8 Broadway shows. Won 2 awards for my work on Broadway. Many Broadway connections. It's possible that I could arrange house seats for nearly any Broadway show. House seats are the seats reserved for those connected with the show. They're usually available till around 48 hours before a performance. Usually within the first 8 rows of the orchestra. They're expensive. At least $160-$200/tkt. And I might have to charge a service charge depending on how difficult it would be to arrange them. I wouldn't want to overwhelm my Broadway friends with house seat requests. But I arrange house seats for friends and relatives regularly. So I could possibly arrange them for my guests.
Occasionally, you can hear the people walking in the apartment overhead. But it's not bad. I'm used to it.
I have 2 pets, but just a tortoise and a fish.
So there you have it. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Only rule is that you can't be too loud in the garden, apartment, or building.
Zugang für Gäste
The kitchen, the garden. Any of the apartment. Guests are not relegated only to the 1 room.
Interaktion mit Gästen
Yes, I'd be staying in the apartment and would be available to help.
Couldn't make too much noise in the garden. No other rules.
