I stayed at Thomas' place alone for about a week this summer. The place was perfect for me: it was spacious, really clean and equipped with the facilities I needed, like wi-fi, towels and amenities. The apartment is exactly as depicted in the pictures. There is even an artistic feel to it and I love how Thomas has decorated the place. The kitchen is complete! I think it would be ideal for those who love to cook (there is a local supermarket just one block down the road). The place has its own laundry machine so that was very convenient for me as I came in after a week traveling elsewhere with dirty clothes. There are two separate toilet and shower room. The shower was small but did not surprise me much for Paris standard.
The nearest metro station is Convention which is on the 12 line. It is about a 6-10 minute walk from the apartment through a safe and quiet neighborhood. Once you are familiar with the metro lines, it is easy making your way around Paris with a through-pass ticket. The apartment building is situated on one of the quieter streets at night away from any street noise. There is a nice bakery shop just across the street from the building where I usually go and get a bread or baguette each morning. About a 1-2 minute walk further down there is an excellent restaurant called Noosa which serves delicious food! The restaurant is single-handedly run by the owner who also serves as a reception, waiter, chef and cleaner. The food is amazing though! I ended up eating there 3 times during the week.
I did not get a chance to meet Thomas in person but communicating with him had been really easy. Thomas was very responsive through emails and gave just enough guidance to settle myself in the apartment. The entire process from check-in to check-out was absolutely hassle-free! Overall, I think the place will be ideal for up to 2 people who enjoy having space and do not mind being slightly away from the city-center. I would love to stay at Thomas' apartment again next time I visit Paris.
