The apartment islocated in a 4-story walk-up, Legal 2-family Brooklyn brownstone. Fully furnished with loads of amenities. PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES CAREFULLY.

Southern exposure, windowed air conditioner and ceiling fan in each room. A king size bed in the Master Bedroom, a twin size bed in the adjoining Second Bedroom (entrance to the 2nd bedroom is from inside the Master Bedroom), and a full size futon in the living room. In addition to a small wooden table for dining.

Clean linens & towels are provided, as well as free satellite cable and wireless high-speed cable internet. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a washer & dryer! The bathroom has a pressure-assist toilet, marble sink and skylight. The apartment has a 32-in HD TV and blu-ray DVD player.

If you need to print something, you can send it in an email to me and I will print it out for you. Just don't wait until the last minute to request this, as I am not always home.

Check In: It is your responsibility to let me know when you expect to arrive at the apartment. If I'm not available to be here in person, you will be sent a PIN number for my IglooHome smart box the day before your arrival. I will leave a set of keys in my smart box – one key for the iron gate and one key for the apartment. Another set of keys will be left in the apartment door lock, two flights up after you enter the building.

CHECKOUT: Leave the key in the apartment and make sure the iron gate is locked when you leave (there is a slam lock on the iron gate, it locks automatically when you close it). Please send me a note via Airbnb when you check out.

Be mindful of the NOISE, there are others living in the building, staying right below you! If I receive noise complaints from other guests and/or neighbors I will contact Airbnb to assist you with finding other accommodations and will call the authorities to have you removed if needed.




Please do not water the plants. If I need you to water them, I will send you a note.

Please clean up after yourself. And, please, please recycle appropriately! If you need to throw out any trash from the apartment, my trash cans are the ones in the front yard on your left when exiting the building. They have 328 Jefferson written on them. There is a can for metals, glass & plastic (blue), a can for paper (green), and a can for everything else (gray). Please pay attention, I do not want you using my neighbors trash cans, nor do they.

That's all! Oh, and don't leave food out!

New Policy: Early check-in and late check-out requests will be granted if available. There is a $5 per hour charge if you need to leave your luggage and a $10 per hour charge is you need to stay in the apartment before or after posted check-in/check-out times. And I need to approve these requests at the time of booking.

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt in der Wohnung und haben dort im turbulenten New York ein Domizil gefunden, in dem wir wieder zur Ruhe kommen konnten. Die Fotos entsprechen vollkommenn der Realität und für drei Personen war alles bestens. Rene hat uns herzlich empfangen und für unsere Abreise mitten in der Nacht ein Taxi organisiert. Alles hat prima geklappt. Zur Subway dauert es ca. 10 min. und auf dem Weg dorthin kann man in der Nostrad Ave. prima frühstücken.

Wir waren zu viert eine Woche in Renées superschöner Wohnung, die wirklich genau so aussieht, wie auf den Bildern. Renee war eine vorbildliche Gastgeberin und wir können sie von ganzem Herzen jedem empfehlen. Die Entfernung zur U-Bahn ist mit viel Gepäck sicherlich eine Herausforderung, aber ohne wirklich gut zu machen - dafür ist man direkt beim A-Train nach Manhattan.

Renée made us feel very welcome to Brooklyn and gave us great tips about the neighborhood, which is an interesting and vibrant one. After a day of getting familiar with the local area we spend some amazing times in Bed-Stuy and would definitely come again. The apartment is located in a classic nice brownstone, but age shows and some works seem to be currently in progress in the building. We would have appreciated a coffee maker/filter to run coffee through (guess it's the European in us). Renée was very responsive and since she lives in the ground floor apartment also available when we needed something. We recommend this location highly.

The stay at Renée's apartment was a pleasure. Clean and tidy with nothing to complain about. Next time we're in New York we'll definitely try to rent it again. Thanks a lot Renée.

All in all Renée's apartment was great and Renée herself is a friendly host! When we arrived two hours earlier than planned Renée was already there, because she is living in the apartment at the first floor of the house, so we could check in early. Her description of the apartment is truthfully. In the apartment is everything you need e.g. to cook, do laundry, watch tv, sleep, chill in the living room and so on. The neighborhood is nice and the people are very friendly, helpful and courteous. It was summer when we stayed there and unfortunately some people near the apartment liked to meet outside and speak loudly and play music beyond midnight, what annoyed us a little bit. But in addition there are a lot of various shops and fast food restaurants near the apartment (not in the street of the apartment, what is an advantage). You won't get hungry! However there are just a few nice bars and other restaurants where to go in the evening. All in all the apartment was great, the host was friendly and we liked to stay there!
