Sorry, we don't accept pets in the studio. However, you're welcome to leave a crated dog in the car and walk the dog in our yard and at local dog parks. Another option is Bayview Pet Resort (1.5 mi.).
House rules and tourist information are kept in the room in a 3-ring binder.
Hello! I'm Sharon, mom of two daughters ages 21 and 17, and in 2014 I married Les, a semi-retired woodworker/cabinet maker and craftsman. I am the controller and admin manager for Seattle Electric Bike (whose shop is on 8th Ave NW in Seattle, but admin offices are here on Whidbey) and I also telecommute for my brother's IT firm in Connecticut. Les and I spend our "down" time playing in the woods and tending our gardens. We have 2 fire pits for enjoying evening campfires, abundant veggies in the garden and apple, peach and plum trees. We live in a family neighborhood accessible to all that South Whidbey has to offer: weekend farmers' markets, Langley cultural events, local organic farms and wineries, a neighborhood pub (Taproom@Bayview Corner), Bayview Farm & Garden, 3 local golf courses, scenic vistas, dog parks close by, and much, much more! Our "in-law apartment" to which we have always referred as "The Little House" serves as a welcoming, affordable home base for couples or families wanting to get away for a weekend or stay for a few weeks on Whidbey! (We're especially accommodating of families who are traveling from throughout the Salish Sea region to give birth at the midwife-owned/operated Greenbank Women's Center!) We hope to see you soon!
