Located just three blocks from the ocean, in the Sea Isle subdivision in the west end of Galveston Island, “Sea Bliss” has been our family’s second home since 2000 and we are happy to share it with you. Sea Bliss sleeps up to eight people comfortably. In 2009, we completely remodeled the house to better accommodate family and friends. On the main floor, you will find two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and its own full ensuite bathroom. Upstairs is the loft with a queen size bed and two twin beds. There is also a powder room just off the hall on the main floor. The majority of the main floor is a spacious, light filled, open concept, contemporary living/dining/kitchen area with a cathedral ceiling.

Guests will have access to Wifi, a 40 inch wall mounted HD television in the living area plus a 19-inch HD TV in the loft. Both TVs have access to over 300 channels on AT&T U-verse. A Blu-ray disc player (that also plays regular DVDs) is connected to the large TV, while the smaller TV has a built-in DVD player. Side by side refrigerator with through the door ice and water, dishwasher, glass top electric stove, microwave, Keurig and conventional coffee makers are all available to our guests. Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, glasses and flatware. Under the kitchen island you will find a blender, larger pots and pans, and a toaster. The utility room on the street level has an available clothes washer, dryer, barbecue grill, and a second refrigerator.

In front of the utility room is a concrete-floored area under the house that almost always catches the ocean breezes. This is a great place to sit (or swing in a hammock). Also in this area is a large enclosed outdoor shower - perfect for after beach clean-up. Our large double-wide concrete driveway with plenty of parking is for your use.

Save if you rent for a week: get a 15% discount for a 7 day rental! If you're interested in a longer stay, ask and we can discuss the dates. 3 night minimum stay on reservations.

We do prefer our renters to be verified by airbnb and at least 25 years of age.

TAXES: Airbnb will add the 6% Texas state hotel occupancy tax to the price of your rental. There is also a 9% local hotel occupancy tax, but that is already included in the price of your rental, you will not be charged additionally for the local tax.

The Owner warrants that to the best of his/her knowledge and belief the aforesaid property is free of faults or Deficiencies which would affect its safe and dependable operation under normal and prudent usage.

RENTAL PERIOD
The Owner agrees to rent the above-described property to the Renter for a period of

USE OF PROPERTY

The Renter further agrees that the rented property and contents shall [1] not be used beyond any rated capacity; (2) shall not be used for any illegal purpose; [3] shall not be used in any manner for which it was not designed, built, or desiqnated by the manufacturer; [4] will not be used in a negligent manner; [5] will not be operated by any other person without the written permission of the Owner.
Renter also agrees that there will be no smoking and no pets allowed on the property.
Renter agrees that the Owner is not responsible for any personal injury sustained by anyone entering the property at any time.
Renter agrees that the Owner is not responsible for any damage sustained by the renter or anyone else to his/her personal property.

INSURANCE
The Renter hereby agrees that he/she shall fully indemnify the Owner for any and all damaqe to or loss of the rented property and any accessories or related equipment during the term of this Agreement whether caused by fire, theft, flood, vandalism, or any other cause, except that which shall be determined to have been caused by a fault or deficiency of the rented property, accessories, or equipment. Renter agrees to reimburse Owner for any damages to the property during the rental period.

RENTAL RATE
The Renter hereby agrees to pay the Owner at the rate of $ per _

DEPOSIT
The Renter further agrees to make a deposit of $ (Amount) with the Owner. Said

Great house. Very clean. Only a 25 minute drive to Schiltterbahn or Moody Gardens. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for the adults and kids. Everything was clean and in working order except dish washer but I was told about this beforehand. I was offered a credit for that but haven't seen it yet. It wasn't too much of a bother to hand wash dishes we used. You can take a walk or a short drive to the beach from this house.

I would not hesitate to stay at Alice and Nigel's place again. Their beach home is everything they state. In addition, Nigel and Alice made themselves available at all times. Wonderful retreat! They are prime examples of what hosts should be.

Our extended family just stayed at Alice & Nigel's beach house. It's clean and has plenty of space. We slept 8 adults and 3 small children. There are 2 bedrooms, and our 3 year old twins slept together on a twin air mattress we brought which fit comfortably next to our bed. The enclosed porch also has beds, though it is not air conditioned. Please note, the sleeping loft is not closed off from the main living area, so it was easier for us to put our kids in our bedroom to sleep (earlier bed time). The kitchen is well equipped, and there's a grill, beach toys and inflatables, and a washer/dryer with soap provided. You'll need your own beach towels. Except for the distance from restaurants, we had no complaints about this stay! The neighbors were friendly and helpful, my kids loved the neighborhood playground, and the fire station (2 blocks away from the house) even gave them a private tour. The beach is across a busy road just 3 blocks away, so we drove our car right onto the beach. It's not crowded and the kids had a blast. I'd recommend this to families as they don't mind cooking their meals!

This is a great home to make some memories with friends or family. The quiet neighborhood is a quick ride to the beach or the pier to fish at in the bay. The home is very comfortable and clean. We hope to return soon to enjoy again.
