Interaktion mit Gästen

It's a house full of people & different schedules. So please use ear plugs if necessary. If you're a light sleeper or can't sleep on a single mattress, this may not be the right place for you.

I absolutely loved staying at Hacker Home! Vic was constantly on top of his communication game, and went above and beyond to make sure I was situated. There was a live-in caretaker who made sure the check-in was smooth and made the place feel like home. Vic also organized a mixer for us, which was a lot of fun and a great way to make friends. I shared a female dorm with three others, and my experience was very positive as everyone was respectful of each other's routines. If you're an intern looking for temporary residence or a conference attendee consider this place. 10/10 would stay again!

I spent 6 weeks at HackerHomes, both Menlo Park and Mountain View. The setup is really interesting with lost of smart people in silicon valley to push the envelope. You'll meet interns at the big companies of the area, startup founders, Stanford students or aspiring ones. Each home as a caretaker for any eventuality, so you do not depend solely on Vic for day to day things. Vic also organizes parties every now and then, in my particular experience a birthday party turned into end-of-intern-season. Vic was also really flexible as my arrangements changed twice during the 6 weeks. The homes are well setup no keys, just pass codes for doors, all info is written out on whiteboards so you are all set in few minutes.

An absolute gem in Downtown Mountain View! I stayed here for a few weeks during my Bay Area internship and thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of the other residents. The common rooms are spacious and cozy, and the location is only 2 blocks from Castro St, which is full of delicious restaurants! Also, it's only a 5 minutes walk to the Caltrain, which makes trips to SF so convenient. Vic is a really accommodating and thoughtful host -- he organized events for residents in his many houses to meet each other and is quick to respond to questions. I enjoyed the stay so much that when I moved to SF, I made sure to stay with him again. Highly recommend!

The house is great, and the housemates/hackers are super friendly. I immediately felt at home. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and I was given an extra blanket when I got cold at night, so I was very happy!
