Get a taste of traditional Japan! This spacious 2LDK apartment is near Ryougoku Kokugikan, Akihabara and it's sub-culture, or Asakusa and its famous Sensoji Temple.
This apartment is great for families and larger groups of travellers and can accommodate groups of up to 7 people. For example, in the kitchen/dining room, 2 people can sit on the comfy sofa and talk with the other members in your group sitting at the large glass table or enjoy TV or a movie together.
The apartment is large at roughly 50 square meters inside, has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining room, a huge veranda and separate toilet and bath/shower rooms. By the way, the toilet itself is a technical marvel and can do all kinds of cool stuff like warm at the press of a button. Being a guy, I was anxious at first about using the bidet button, but it's awesome how clean it is! Another example of Japanese innovation!
The apartment does have an air conditioner, which is centrally located and can heat or cool the apartment to your liking.
As for the bedrooms, one room is Western-style and one is Japanese-style. What's the difference, you say? Well, the flooring! Western-style has wooden flooring, whereas Japanese- style rooms have something called "tatami flooring". If you've never been in a tatami-floored room, you're in for a treat. Tatami flooring consists of several rectangular straw mats fit snugly together and was the flooring used for all housing in Japan until recent years when Western- style wood flooring became more popular. The reason is the latter is easier to clean and is tougher. However, I personally still love tatami flooring as it reminds me that I'm in Japan, smells and feels wonderful. Some people feel they sleep better in tatami-floored rooms and I tend to agree. Anyway, there's comfortable and clean bedding for 7 people, including a huge KING-sized bed, a few futons and a fold-out sofa bed.
The kitchen is a joy to cook in and has everything you need, including a large refrigerator, dual burner gas stovetop, microwave oven and all the pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and silverware you'll need to cook whatever you want.
Overall, it's a great apartment for your group of up to 7 people and I'm confident it will help make your trip to Japan a fun and memorable one.
