This wonderful newly refurbished 3 bed Mews House is central to Bristol's most popular & historic area - Clifton Village. All of the cafes, restaurants, shops and boutiques are 1-2 minutes walk away. The house is quiet and secure & has parking.
This wonderful mews house is ideally placed for accessing all areas of Bristol, and is only half an hour away from the Roman City of Bath, and 40 minutes from the Welsh Capital, Cardiff. This is a perfect location for visiting the City on business, working at one of our highly-rated Universities, dropping into one of Bristol's famous festivals, sightseeing, visiting friends and family or working out whether this is the place for you to settle permanently.
This is a traditional "upside down" style mews house with a bright and airy lounge on the first floor with sweeping views over Bristol and beyond. The main bedroom, dressing room & en suite are also on the first floor and a further 2 bedrooms and main bathroom (wet room) are downstairs along with a large kitchen and dining room. A conservatory at the rear of the house brings the vibrant & colourful garden closer indoors.
If you're worried about the inconvenience of parking in Clifton Village, which is now a restricted parking zone, our private parking space will provide you with the ultimate ease of access.

Royal York Mews was recently featured in the Bristol Post's "11 of the best Airbnb houses, flats, cabins and rooms in Bristol"
Our minimum night stay rules change seasonally. Please check the calendar for further information.
We've listed our house as "Family & Child Friendly" as we've happily hosted many families with children. We would like to point out however, that on the first floor there is a balcony and many openable windows, which, should you choose to unlock, will create a falling risk if young children are left unsupervised. Additionally, there are roman blinds fitted throughout the house with cords that open and close them. We are aware that these may present hazards to young children, and therefore supervision of children in these areas is key. Whilst we are happy to accommodate young children, we do not supply cots in the house although please feel free to bring your own travel cot with you.
We have one secure parking space in a car park at the rear of the property. If you require additional parking, we can arrange a parking permit for the roads adjacent to the house for an additional £12 per day.
Should you need a babysitter during your stay at Royal York Mews, please let us know. We are able to recommend experienced and trustworthy individuals who are close family friends and live nearby.
Our house is a home, so please do look after it and leave it as you find it. We kindly request that the house is left in a clean and tidy state on your departure, and that you make us aware of any damage or breakages.
Please switch off all lights, turn the heating thermostat to its lowest setting, shut all windows, and lock all doors and gates when leaving the house for any period of time.
Only guests listed on booking will be permitted to stay in the property, up to a maximum of 5 people. This is a three-bedroomed house and hence there are only three beds in the property: a king-sized, a double and a single. Unfortunately, the house is not big enough to accommodate additional mattresses and sleepers in other rooms. We do not permit sleeping on the sofa.
Even if booking on behalf of others, the person making the booking is fully responsible for ensuring that all guests are fully conversant with the house rules and booking conditions, including the strict check-out time.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house or garden, and regrettably pets can not be accommodated.
If you are bringing young children to stay, please be aware that they should be supervised at all times and that the items provided for decorative purpose throughout are not suitable as toys.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us by following the recycling guidelines set down by the City Council, which support Bristol's goal to minimise the amount of waste it sends to landfill. There are comprehensive instructions on recycling within the house information folder.
We retain access to the property at all times to inspect, maintain or make any necessary repairs.
Check-out time is strictly before 10am on the day of departure.
Finally, I'm afraid that we're unable to accommodate stag and hen party groups, and we do not permit the house to be used for hosting parties or events of any kind.
Wenn du bis zu 7 Tage vor deinem Aufenthalt stornierst, erhältst du eine Rückerstattung über 50 %, plus die Service-Gebühren.
I'm originally from Bath but settled in Bristol 17 years ago when work brought me to the city. I'm a Sport Psychologist; an incredibly interesting and challenging profession, which brings me into contact with some extraordinary people in many different areas of the U.K., Europe and further afield.
Very shortly after arriving in Bristol as a newcomer, I was adamant that this was a place that I would never leave. Year after year, Bristol scoops the "Best city to live in" award for the U.K., and I couldn't agree more! We have a fabulously dynamic city that offers something for everyone, the beautiful countryside right on our doorstep and a diverse and friendly population of locals.
