Villa Sakiko is just 700 m far from the place called “Perla dello Ionio” (“Pearl of Ionian Sea”) where you can visit the Greek Roman theater, a lot of Norman buildings and the Public Garden. At the same time you can have nice time in there doing shopping, eating in various restaurants and pastry shop and enjoy the night in Taormina in several night spots.
I’ll be glad to welcome you in villa Sakiko, where the traditional Sicilian style mixes with the East, creating a sort of magic ambience like a dream. You can also relax on the various terraces under the sun or in the cool nights and enjoying the wonderful landscape that only Taormina city can offer to you.
Who I am
I was born in Japan and I’ve been soon adopted by Sicilian parents , that carried me to Taormina city, where they lived and managed 2 shops: “Pasticceria Etna” that was a pastry shop and a “Bar & Gelateria” located in main street of the city.
My father, Chemi Giuseppe, is well Known in Sicily as pastry chef . He built Villa Sakiko before I was born , following the old Sicilian Villas design and fusing indoor Sicilian and eastern tradition. I spent few time in Japan looking for my identity, but at the end I come back to Sicily because I felt to belong to this place from the bottom of my heart . Now I hope that even you will spent unforgettable moment resting at my place and starting your day eating my delicious Italian or American breakfast and ,when it is possible, also my father’s cakes .
