Priory Cottage is the first home tucked away on the un-adopted lane of sociable Garfield Terrace built in 1881. A true tardis, the cottage can flexibly accommodate up to 8 guests sleeping, though with 2 double bedrooms and a single loft room I recommend it for 4 for comfort. (3 of the beds are pull-out daybeds/sofabeds and the cosy sitting room and diner comfortably seat 4; 6 max).
A quirky & deceptively spacious home, entrance is into a beautiful high ceilinged oak floored hallway and stairs rising to the split level first floor.
The cosy sitting room with log burning stove leads through to a long galley modern kitchen/ diner with single oven/hob, American fridge/freezer, breakfast bar area. Dining table & chairs in kitchen/diner & comfortable additional snuggle seating/ king guest daybed. French doors to sunny Courtyard Patio for additional parking or barbequing. Recently landscaped, this area is a sun trap for the evening sunand is South facing; if lucky with weather it is delightful to sit out as the sun sets!
Family bathroom with power shower.
2 double bedrooms, the master with en-suite steps down to shower room. Bedroom 2 is for children, with single that pulls out to king size. Comfortably fits the single plus a cotbed (not supplied).
A new loft room complete with Juliet balcony provides further occasional sleeping for 1.
GCH throughout with a wood burning inglenook stove for cosy evenings. This old cottage is not suitable for wheelchair users nor ideal for small children.

Off road parking for 1 car. Access to house, BBQ Courtyard/ extra parking, washer/dryer.
Rooms will be accessible as required for the number of guests in your party at host discretion. (The Loft and Childs bedroom will be inaccessible if they are not needed). When beds are required for additional guests in communal areas and the loft room, bedding and towels will be provided. They are provided at an additional cost for the Master and Childs bedroom.

The house will be yours to enjoy during your stay. No-one else will be present. You will be able to communicate with me via text and phone if required during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE! It is not very easy to clarify the pricing structure on the site:
- If you wish to only stay for one night, the price will be £122 for up to 3 guests *.
- For two or more nights stay the price is usually £69 per night for up to 3 guests *.
*additional cost per night for more than 3 guests as stated.
You are advised to bring bedding and towels for the Master bedroom and Childs bedroom OR this can be supplied and made up for you prior to arrival for an additional fee of £15 per room. Let me know your preference!
Access must be maintained at ALL times on Garfield Terrace.
The Wirral Peninsula is great for cycling, walking & running, with off road hilly trails at Bidston Hill & Thurstaston & the flat Wirral Way path. More strenuous hills are in easy reach including Cheshires Delamere Forest & Sandstone ridge, Loggerheads Country Park & Moel Famau, all only 45 minutes drive away.
Please enquire if you wish to bring a dog.
Please let me know if you wish me to provide bedlinen made up and towels for the Master and Childs bedrooms.
Sleeping arrangements and rooms available will be selected strictly at the hosts discretion.
Parking is STRICTLY in the yard (or in front of the gates by special permission only) **The parking spaces opposite the house are the next door neighbours driveway, please do not mistakenly park there.
