This is an old house and the stairs to the second floor are quite steep. The house has been recently renovated and expanded and made more energy efficient. We welcome children, but the bedroom has large windows with low sills.
Quiet, non-smoking house, no pets. We have a cat and a dog--who do not go into the guest bedroom.
We are retired teachers, Craig in Spanish and French, Jin in Literature, Film, and Women's Studies. Craig grew up in our house, and has cared for the garden since 1962. Jin helped start the neighborhood farmers market (Sundays 10-2 between June & October.) Two cats and a dog live with us. We enjoy hosting visitors to the Northwest, and love introducing people to Portland.
