This space is fully separate from the rest of the house. Guests have their own entrance, en suite bathroom, and even enjoy "ownership" of the patio outside their window. A short walk to downtown AA, UM's central campus, and the UM Stadium, this space offers free parking, an elm-shaded back yard, desk, Roku (tv), chairs, coffee/tea, and fridge. The quiet leafy neighborhood outside, and the smoke-free, pet-free, and dust-mite-minimal interior create a clean, comfortable accommodation for a couple.
Your room is in the new addition that we constructed in 2000. The house is on a hill, and your garden-level room opens onto an arbor-shaded backyard patio. Your large windows face east, where the moon always rises over the Ann Arbor skyline. The back door's passcode entry is easier than managing keys. Your queen-sized bed has a very comfortable, new mattress; additionally, a short cot is available upon request to use either as a suitcase platform, a settee, or a child's bed. A desk, desk chairs, and an easy chair are also in the room. The television on offer is a Roku TV. During the summer, you may relax outdoors under the large hydrangea-covered arbor on nice mornings or evenings (rabbits are a common sight on the lawn). Secondhouse was built about (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN); its decorative exterior detailing and front porch are typical of the Bavarian immigrants who built the Old West Side neighborhood of Ann Arbor in the late 19th century.

Weitere wichtige Infos
The Old West Side is a very pleasant neighborhood lined with traditional houses and a high tree canopy. Walkers, gardeners, and porch-sitters keep the sidewalk scene lively, but the timbre is really transformed on the seven UM Football home-game days each fall. Secondhouse is so close to the stadium that we enjoy the full brouhaha of those days of small planes roaring overhead, cheers of ecstasy erupting from the stadium, and masses of maize-and-blue-clad fans flowing down the sidewalk!
No pets, smoking, candle flames, unregistered guests, or loud noises are allowed.

My husband, Larry, and I have lived in this house since 1992. We raised our children here while improving and eventually doubling the size of the house. Larry is an engineer, physicist, and amateur photographer; and I am a writer of sorts, having published a walking guide to Ann Arbor called Riverwalks. I love trees, good art, philosophical conversations, and homemaking. We enjoy traveling and hosting travelers, and we do look forward to hosting you!
