This was a disappointing experience. First, this is OT a BnB -- no breakfast is included. The front desk was not aware of my reservation, then, I was sent to a room which had not yet been cleaned from the night before. They just didn't seem to know what was going on. The front area (in the pictures) is very nice, but the rest of the place is run down and tacky. Knobs were missing from the closet and drawers. Light fixtures didn't work. Walls were dirty. Any question, including about my reservation and breakfast required a phone call the manager at a different guesthouse. Any one or even two of these problems could be tolerated in a cheaper place ($7 or $10) but I expect more from a $15 guesthouse. THE BIG PROBLEM: My reservation was for four nights. After one night there, I told the staff I was leaving for another guesthouse. The manager -- over the phone and through the only employee I met who could speak English -- REFUSED TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENT TO MY BILL OR REFUND ANY OF THE $45 I HAD PAID FOR THE LAST THREE NIGHTS. This place should, change its AirBNB status to "hotel," get good training for its staff, and take care of the little physical problems -- or lower its rates. But the the manager's unwillingness to find any way to adjust my bill, makes me say, "Stay away."
