All perfectly located for visiting and exploring the wonderful city of Brighton.

This is our own holiday home, which we open up to fellow travellers when we can't stay ourselves - we love this place and have spent many happy years enjoying the sights & sounds of central Brighton. The lounge is large bright and open plan - leading onto a large, south facing balcony that overlooks the pedestrianised street below that's filled with shops, cafes, and more. Watch the world go by from this fabulous position or get out and explore, perfectly located for the best shops, restaurants, the beach, clubs, cinemas, cafes, galleries and more. A secure parking space is also available, a rare find in such a great and central location for this fantastic city.

The apartment is arranged over two floors with the large open plan lounge, dining room and separate kitchen downstairs with two good sized, double bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom upstairs. Both bedrooms have super comfy king size beds, plenty of storage and fresh clean towels & linen.

Whilst the apartment is slap bang in the centre of the South Lanes - it sits in an elevated position above the lane and behind secure doors, so whilst the Lanes are always busy - the flat offers a lovely refuge away from the hustle and bustle of the street below. There's no nicer way to spend the evening sitting out on the balcony enjoying a sundowner and listening to the sounds of all the folks milling in the streets below.

Sleeps up to 6.

You'll have full access to the entire apartment. You can come and go when you please and you'll have your own key to the apartment throughout your stay.

There is a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge if you need to sleep more than 4 people. There is an additional charge of £10 per night for the use of the sofa bed. Please let us know if you wish to use the sofa bed when booking and we will send you a special offer.

Check in is after 3pm and check out is before 11am. Please let us know when you're booking if you would like different times to these and we will accommodate you as much as possible.

Secure parking is available for one car for an extra £15 per night. The parking space is located on the same site as the apartment, and is accessible via electric gates and doors, 24/7.

Wherever possible Ev or Rob will meet you in person to firstly help you find the flat and then to show you around the property - offer any advice on places to visit, eat or shop. We're on hand if you have any questions and will do our upmost to help however we can. On the rare occasion where we're away or can't meet you in person, we'll always ensure that someone who knows the ropes fully is on hand to introduce you to the flat and show you around.

There's simply too much to say in this space - but immediately below the flat you'll see Jo Malone, Mac, Profile, Ted Baker, TFI Cafe to name just a few. The beach is literally 3 minutes walk down the road. The Pier is less than 10 minutes walk. The list of shops, cafe's and restaurants is simply too long to list - just walk out the door and you'll wander across well known high street brands as well as fabulous local vendors and artisans.

The train station is a short 10 minute walk down towards the sea - the coach station is even closer.

Parking is tricky in the Lanes as much of it is pedestrianised however we have a secure parking space behind electric gates, that can be made available to guests for an additional £15 per night. The parking space is for one car only and is on the other side of lane to the apartment. It is very convenient for access to the flat. Please note the car park whilst behind electric gates and secure is used at your own risk and we can not be held responsible for anything that might happen to your car during your stay.

There are some great bike tours around Brighton and its a fab way to get to see the main sights in a short period of time. And there are a number of very reasonably priced bike hire companies that rent Amsterdammer bikes for £10 per 24 hours

The property is located up two short flights of stairs behind the outside of the property and behind a set of security doors - so please note that it is not easily accessed by anyone who requires wheelchair access or who has mobility issues. Prams and buggies can be easily carried up the stairs.

Parking is tricky in the Lanes as much of it is pedestrianised however we have a secure parking space behind electric gates, that can be made available to guests for an additional £15 per night. Guests who come by public transport will find the flat is only a short 10 minute walk from the station.

We have a 37' flat screen TV in the lounge connected to an Amazon Firestick which allows you to stream content from our Netflix, Amazon Prime accounts and play some games. The TV is not connected to an aerial, so it does not play live broadcast TV.

The apartment has fast (not fibre) broadband, which you are welcome to use during your stay.

Note: The freezer in the kitchen is currently not working.

Please note that this is a private residential apartment, and we have very friendly neighbours next door and across the street, so we do ask that you make every effort to respect their privacy and right to peace and quiet - especially during later hours where children and neighbours maybe trying to sleep.

Please do not smoke anywhere inside the property. You can smoke outside on the balcony but please not near the door or window.

Rob and I have been living together in Brighton for quite a few years. When we moved in together we kept Rob's flat in central Brighton. Recently - about two years ago we decided to share the joy and pleasure of the flat to people visiting Brighton. Rob works freelance in web design and I am a chocolate artist/architect. We have a family home in west Hove and two adult children who have now flown the nest. We love the sharing economy and find Airbnb allows people to enjoy visiting other places in the comfort and convenience in other people's homes. We certainly do enjoy it and much prefer it to staying in a hotel.
We love travelling and early last year we bought a motorhome and enjoy touring Europe in it. We love foods from all places, and enjoy movies and reading. We're easy going and friendly and love meeting new people and exploring new places.
