What a wonderful place to stay! On arrival we were made to feel so welcome, there was a fridge full of the essentials and all the usual kitchen necessities were provided (tea, coffee, milk, cereal etc.) The absolute bonus was a bottle of bubbly which didn't last long. The children loved watching the canal boats come and go in the locks and feeding the ducks was a never ending job. There was a particularly cheeky white one which was always fun to feed. The property was perfect for our stay and was very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard so we could've travelled a bit lighter in hindsight. It was lovely to relax in the kitchen garden in the morning drinking tea and listening to the various animals around. All in all, a great place to stay. The drive down is entertaining to say the least but that's what make it's unique as there's no passing road traffic at all, only boats.

What a fantastic stay.... Leonie went above and beyond what I'd expect from a host providing us with a champagne and strawberry reception a beautiful immaculately clean house and friendly advise on walks, where to eat and the surrounding area, but it was the house and location that made the stay such a beautiful property in such a idyllic location. Will definitely return... Thank you
