Our Bed & Breakfast is located 12 minutes South of Downtown Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico and 40 minutes North of Ensenada near Puerto Nuevo (Lobster Village). This is an ocean front 6-bedrooms 6-bathrooms 4-kitchens mini mansion on a bluff 70 feet above the beach with a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Check out our pictures, and imagine yourself at sunset sipping your favorite beverage and listening to the waves rolling in on the shore below.
From our terraces you have a front-row view of the dolphin migration almost every morning and again in the afternoon. This Bed and Breakfast is truly a jewel within a typical small Mexican village by the beach, with beautiful days and perfect sunsets. At night, you can contemplate the dark starry sky or the glow of the moon creating a mirror-like reflection on the water. You can enjoy the fire pit on the lower terrace or the outdoor fireplace on the upper terrace. For indoor occasions, you have the fireplace in the living room. All this can make for an unforgettable experience in a secure and serene setting.
Things to Do Locally:
You can rent horses and ponies nearby for a nice ride on the beach. Or you can rent quads and ride them on the beach or on the local sand dunes. The beach is great for walking and running. Or get in and share the waves with the local surfers right in front of the house. Do it all. Or you can relax in a hammock or lounge chair under one of our palm-frond palapas and enjoy a novel from our collection, a daydream or a nap. Come join us for a great time

This place was exactly as described . Salvador and his wife were very nice and accommodating . Initially it was my boyfriend and I staying here and due to some unforeseen circumstances Salvador was kind enough to accommodate for my other two friends to stay there the 2nd night . What I loved most about this place was the view and outdoor patio areas which are huge! I also loved the private access to the beach. I would recommend this place and would stay here again in the future . P.s. Salvador recommend going to Rubens for brunch and we loved it . Great vibe and live music.

I loved how colorful and grand the place was. More than I expected with a large room with a fridge and microwave, and a clean big bathroom! Salvador gave us a box of local baked goods when we arrived. We felt safe and he explained all we needed to know as soon as we got there. The location was great for local dining and having a relaxing get away. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone who is going down to baja california for a short time!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMENTS, THE FOLLOING ARE THE COMMENTS FROM SOME ONE THAT STAY IN YOUR ROOM THE PREVUES WEEKEND, I THINK SHE TOOK THE TIME TO READ ALL THE INFORMATION WE PROVIDE ON OUR PAGE AND DID KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN THEY GOT HERE, What a rare and magical gem of a home! We were searching for a beachfront place with proximity to the lobster village of Puerto Nuevo for a quick getaway and Salvador's exceeded expectations. You cannot beat it for price, views and amenities. Potential guests may want to bring along slippers to pad around the house's tiled floors and amply furnished two decks, so you can save your shoes for away trips and avoid tracking sand into the bed. The host has state-of-the-art reverse osmosis water filtration system installed so no need to sweat bringing tons of bottled water, and a water softener that leaves skin soft and silky. The host has thoughtfully provided cupboards with everything you could possibly desire, including extra towels, pillows and blankets for both bed and outdoors, padded chaise lounge covers, beach towels and more. The outdoor fire pit was a joy, and there's easy access down to the beach for a brief walk down to the local sand dunes along the breakwater. We tried to enjoy every seating option available outside. Rooms have private bathrooms with low flow showers and lovely painted ceramic sinks and low flow toilets that accommodate toilet paper- a rarity for Mexico's septic systems. There's also Direct TV for keeping up on what's going on in the news or HBO and Showtime and a library of DVDs. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances and the freezer has a ice maker for cocktail hour. Guests anticipating use of the hot tub will need to make arrangements at a local spa like the Rosarito Beach Hotel, where a spa service includes use of the jacuzzi and saunas. I also suggest bringing along a pocket flashlight as the darkened house is typical of Spanish architecture and hallways to rooms are too dark to navigate and require finding switches in the dark which can be daunting given the obstacles of unknown furniture! Tiny nightlights or strings of Xmas lights throughout darkened halls and the Greatroom would make a sensible addition. Don't miss Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village and once inside the arches be sure to drive down a few blocks to the restaurants closer to the coast with much lower prices- they try harder because they have to! Closer to the entrance the same meal is much smaller, incl. only one lobster, no free cocktail and more expensive at $25+. Recommend 'Los Brisas' 3 blocks down and turn left for incredible value- the special offers two whole 3/4 lb. lobsters, a margarita, beans, rice and tortillas for just $17. It not on the menu but the 'ropers' who bring in patrons will tell you about off-menu offerings. Salvador spends adequate time showing guests where and how to. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. Suggest notifying your cell phone provider in advance so you can use your phone as the place is kinda hard to find due to a lack of street signs. It's one block past 'Los Pinõs St' and his corner Calle Hildago has a...

About Me

One of my goals in life was to live in a beach front house, my wish came true, I am now managing Puerto Nuevo bed and breakfast and live in it full time. I lived in the US. All my early years managing great family restaurants and chose to do that because I enjoy people and treat them as if they were my own family.

I enjoy my daily walks on the beach, I also like to go up the local mountains on my 4x4 and the local sandunes, I do a little fishing also, going dancing and dinning is a must, I used to play golf locally but I had to give that up, (back problems).

It is nice to have so many fun things to do locally to keep yourself busy, but it is also nice not to do anything and just seat around, read a book and take a "siesta" on one of the hammock under a palapa, and enjoy the sunsets!!!!!
