Although upstairs ceiling is lofted and 6 feet only in the center of the room. There is a mini farm on site with a chickens, crowing rooster, quacking ducks, and dairy goats. Farm fresh eggs and goat milk and cheese is a possibility. There is a futon downstairs and a queen size bed upstairs. Well behaved pet is a possibility, please ask. I generally don't interact with guests unless they initiate. I like to give my guests privacy.
The space is not fancy, so if you are looking for a pristine hotel like environment, or are a high maintenance city slicker, this may not be the place for you. We are surrounded by nature and all that entails. You may be greeted by a tree frog, coyote, bobcat, woodpecker, lizard, snake or spiders. There are 2 dogs on the property as well as my 2 wild children.
Topanga is full of micro climates. We are in the cooler area which is wonderful in the summer and a little chillier in the winter. We now have a portable air conditioner in the unit for those unpredictable 2 weeks a year it is needed. There is also a very efficient heater. The property is centrally located and easily accessible. There are no street lights in Topanga, and the roads in and out of the canyon are curvy and dark, so keep that in mind if arriving late.
We are walking distance to most restaurants, coffee shops, yoga, library, and vintage shops. There are no sidewalks however and traffic moves fast.
Update: We had tremendous rain and now the creek is flowing beautifully!

Little to none. I generally like to give people privacy. There is a self check in and self check out set up. If you would like a private tour of the farm, or milking demo, please let me know. You can also take a self tour. I try to leave farm fresh goat milk, eggs and cheese for guests when these items are available. There are children on the property.
Weitere wichtige Infos
There are farm animals and children on the property. This is a tiny house and best suits a couple or single person. Although we are open to other situations. There is a futon downstairs. The sleeping loft is only accessible by a ladder, see photos. We are friendly to animals but please ask. My dogs have free reign of the property, (except your fenced yard) but they will greet you when you arrive. The black and white border collie is "Sammy" and the little brown guy is "Mack".
Considerate, this is not a party house but a quiet getaway. There is a lot of wood in the kitchen so please be mindful of water spills and please no cutting directly on wood surfaces. Feel free to close the gate to the yard, I leave it open as a welcome. Be careful going up and down the stairs. The property is on septic, so please, no coffee grinds or anything else down the sink and only toilet paper in the toilet:)
